dude, Asgard ftw. Ragnorak Colosus pwns the fuck out of the Wraith and Ancients. Combine it with Freyjas, Thors, Odins, and Gungirs and you have a fleet that can't be stopped. Only problem is the ungodly cost of the Rangorak. Getting 2 costs 50000 credits, 5000 metal, and 4200 credits, as well as 800 fleet supply. Who needs a network of Ancient space gates when you can demolish an netire empire with a single fleet? This is using Dolnyck's SG Races mod by the way.

Actually, if they did reduce the health of LRFs, I'd like the HCs to keep their damage bonus. A Heavy Cruiser should be able to destroy everything short of a capital ship. The only thing that should be able to stand up to a HC is another HC or a group of LFs and LRFs.

Actually, since he had more, he could target multiple worlds, while you could target and kill one at a time, he could launch at 10 different worlds. While he might not take them, He could definitely advance his goals easier then you. Not only that, but he had 10 at 4 hours, while you had your 3 at 8 hours. Assuming an equal production rate, he would have 20, or perhaps more, at 8 hours, and he would be striking at you well before you even began production of your Novaliths. His econom

I don't actually play all the much with the normal Entrenchment, I prefer to play with mods (my favorite is Dolynicks latest edition of Stargate races), but if the other person goes super-culture, it is relatively easy to counter it in either version. You can easily build culture centers to counter, or at least slow the spread of enemy culture, long enough to build up your defenses and fleets enough to attack deep into the enemies empire.

Try modifying the research for turn speed increase and give it as a permanent passive ability to the ships you want it for.

I think you can shoot the other way around, but it is indredibly hard, like hitting the head of a nail on the far side Mercury from the Oort Cloud.

1. Any Civilizations game. Admittedly, the last one I got was about 8 years ago, but I hated it. 2. AOE III. I loved the other games, but I don't know what it was about this one... 3. EaW: Forces of Corruption. They added in lots of new units and worlds at the expense of gameplay. If you're the Empire, tech up to Star Destroyers and super weapons. As Rebels, use your incredibly powerful heros to raid enemy worlds until you win. Consortium, use your insanely powerful ships to d

Just want to clear something up, a isoton is actually closer to Giga tons, not Megatons. P.S. I don't consider the Nova to be a feasible technology. Come on, 9 8 Megaton bombs (tops) creating a explosion with the same density as a neutron star. Total bull.

[quote who="GrandAdmiralSova117" reply="11" id="2243898"] Teh fuck? I've heard of Metroid vs Halo and Star Trek vs Star Wars.....but this....Halo is not even in the same league as Star Trek. Not in the same league? Star Trek has never been shown to build a space city half the size of the DS 2, this city is the Covenant Holy City of Hight Charity, which is at max guarded by 2500 ships from hundreds of SSD size Super Carriers and smaller Cruisers. They have never built giant rings tha

I'm afraid I'd have to go with the AK-47 or M16. The M16 is extremely useful, as shown by its long employment by the US armed forces, but the AK-47 is cheap, durable, low matinence, and easy to mass produce. If I wanted a more accurate gun, I'd go with the M16, but both can lay down a lot of killing power, fast. (By the way, AK-47 is accurate in 3 round bursts. Try it. You shouldn't have to hit anything other then a tank more then 3 times.)

I doubt that SupCom 2 will be bad after the first 2 being such hits... A good RPG game is so hard to find because people expect so much out of them, and they're games, not substitutes for real life.

I must say, that a capitlist system seems to work better. If some people won't get off their lazy asses and work, then why should we provide everything for them? I think that both end up having major problems with corruption. I don't trust most of the politicians that run, and even when you vote, it doesn't really matter. The person who managed to get the most morons (while America has many smart people, it also has some of the dumbest people in the world. And you can't blame it on the educat

I agree with Survivorman. People our handicapped by our definition of 'habitable'. The organism could be a creature that live at the bottom of oceans, in the deepest trenches of their world, or a animal that lives inside volcanos. A world that wouldn't be habitable for us might be extremely habitable for some species. They might not be based off of carbon and oxygen. Perhaps they're based from nitrogon and argon? I think whether or not we're visited by aliens depends on a few things.

The CCS Battlecruiser was one of the largest ships in the Covenant arsenal. A SSD would devestate any Battlecruiser. And I have no doubt that a Tie Interceptor would devestate any Seraph. I have to go with Star Wars here.

A. If the game was completely balanced, then every side would be pretty much the same, with very little variation, and whoever spammed faster would win. B. If you can't meet him toe to toe withyour current ship mix, try adding different ships, and I don't know, not just spamming dozens of LRFs. Try building support cruisers, CAs, or Carriers. C. Most people who complain about the game needing to be balanced lose often. Otherwise they wouldn't complain.

I think some people need to remember that we are theorizing what we think will happen. We can know what it might be like 50, or even 100 years from now, if technological development follows the path we think it will. But say, 200 years from now, or 300? It's impossible to go faster then light now, but a relatively short time ago, going faster then the speed of sound was considered impossible. Who says we won't have Starfire-like inetria-cancelling drive

I guess some people realize that the kids can't just walk in and buy the game... Whenever there's an M rated game I want, I give my mom the money for it and I don't even have to go with her. Most stores require an ID to buy a game.

Yeah, I've checked the site for the new honorverse game, and they haven't updated it since the intial game info. I hope this doesn't turn into 5 years of hell like Halo Wars did... But yeah, if you can get permission, that'd be awesome.

Actually you can make a mobile ship that builds capital ships, it'd just be slow as hell, and huge.
