Haegemonia and homeworld set the standered for me on how space games should be. The fact is those, Haegemonia did have smaller amount of units compared to SOSE, but that what made it good, it made a whole different stragey out of it.For example, in SOSE, my main Fleet would consist of 50 kodiaks, 3 hosh, 20 garda, 40 Jarvis etc. and in my defense I would leave 10 carriers, 20 kodiaks just in case and keep building more fleet. in Haegemonia it was different, you had 8 battle ships, 4

Capital ships are farily balanced now. Me of aking serveval of them is important now, as having a wide range of caps is a good idea, but only at a late stage. very late. Miltary Terms Sins of a Solar empire is a good game. I had it for two years now, but for some reason, I aint WOWED! by it. It just seems too easy for me in term of stargey and tactics. The only reason gamespot gives good reviews to games is becuase game companies give them exclusives etc. if they give a BIG company a bad score, they will no longer give them stuff like that. I beleive they mostly give high scores to EA games, EA has lost touch with so many players, they milk games till there are dry, and they dont put nay effort into most game like they used to. I think I proved, Arch proved, and many other bia, and other players in sins that DT are beatable. I have beaten every DT player at least twice, except Klmz, as I he only recently came back to sins. the problem with making your fighters and bombers sit and shoot is that they SHOOT ANYTHING! you cant aim them properly, so be careful on how you postion them, to attack a specific target.
