TobiWahn, Let me confirm what I have or will get to settle format, then a template for the ship and research buttons would give me a good starting point. Honestly won't have time for a few months but I'll let you know when I'm ready to give it a go. Thanks.
Thanks. Time is not that important, it will take a while for us to get to rebellion, then we will need to take a look at the necessary artwork again.</p

@Davroth Corel will certainly work, but I've not used it for about 8 years so I cannot advise on it. If you also got Corel Draw you can easily make sketches and shapes in Corel Draw, then edit them in Corel Paint for the finish. I can give you the current backgrounds for the Buttons that I make (for ships mostly) if you want. Except if you want to have a completely differing style for the research (or just make a better Button than me ;-) but there should always be consistency. So

I want to have a clean start and not have to identify additional problems when transitioning. It will also take some time to make the change I suppose. @Rodney, Darvroth and Rob I've submitted the Poseidon and other small changes to the repository. Happy testing.
Updated from your recommendations. The models and textures are ingame material, the planet and rendering is done in Cinema 4D
Any one know a quick how to to create the art needed for the numerous UI buttons? The mod needs unique art for ship, ability and tech interface buttons all in all, hundreds of new overlays. I'm willing to learn if there is a quick tutorial already out there. Don't have a lot of time for the next few months but I'll manage somehow.
What software are you going to use?
Just a small teaser, not ready yet [e digicons][/e]
Hi Rodney, Yes, I still use the dropbox and put an answerfile on it. You now have access to BitBucket, though as noted in the txt new abilities are now added through the database, not as files. Welcome back and lets get this thing going. I've caught a severe cold on thursday so was out of order for the weekend and still feel a bit dizzy. So not much was done on the mod, sorry for that.
Just a status update - I still have little time though managed to make progress on the latest addition for the mod (will say once its done, which should be around next weekend if all goes according to plan). After that, I'll just resolve a few more Tickets so look for a release of 0.43 around the 11th of November.
The more I think about it and as the number of needed ship ability files is reduced that for those capital ships that have jump engines that that ability be made the ultimate ability for that ship. This would remove the research restriction which could be substatuted by making the jump engine a minimum ship level which could be varied by race and ship class. Which would make the engines available later as most factions can purchase a few levels
Please release, that's superb!
Knock! Haven't got much time, just got promoted (without pay-raise [e digicons]^_^'[/e] ) so have less time and more work. Working on one final addition for 0.43, when it is finished I will see how many tickets I can include and then will release the next version.
Hi all, Sorry for my absence, so much to do. Workdays are getting longer and longer. Thanks for all the updates and work you've done. Badger Starfury now finished. Will be in 0.43 [e digicons]:D[/e]
Yey! As for the spawning ships, I generally like the idea, I like it a lot. I'm just not sure how well it would fit with a Centauri player using it against Shadow Player. But still, I love the idea.
Hi there. Finally back again. Was a fantastic journey, except for volcano eruptions we had seen almost all Iceland has to offer. I see that you've been very busy while I was away. I will still lay low the next few days, and I have to work again come Monday, but I will read all your posts and take a look at the tickets in the next days. Thanks a lot for all your work and contributions. [e digicons]:sun:[/e]
OK guys, I will fly to iceland today so wont be online for the coming 2 weeks. Haven't had the time to work on the mod in the last days due to preparations. Will post here once I get back. Have a nice time all of you. [e digicons]:sun:[/e]

OK, gamefront seems to have problems right now, everytime the upload finishes it just stays at the upload page and I can begin anew (used 3 diferent browsers so far, no success) so I'm trying minus.com http://minus.com/l6lTVlKL8yb3v @harpo Shall I remove your link from the original thread post?
Megaupload is down thanks to the USA Government and their masters the RIAA and MPAA Origo is no longer available, the university ended the service so we had to move to BitBucket. I seem to have unintentionally removed the 0.42x files so I'm now uploading a full 0.422 version to gamefront agin and will post here once available. Remember that 0.422 has many bugs including not having Vorlon and Shadows playable (they might crash) @Darvroth Yes, all
