We can test that. Let us all agree on the fact that a beta release of the complete Object Desktop suite will be available for windows 7 by June-July... The challenge is *ON* :P

I noticed I have 2 OD listings too, with the same serial number. I have only a single entry. Object Desktop Ultimate, expires november 13, 2012 I assume that the Impulse data is more accurate than the WC da

Duh!
If you don't actually use 2 licenses for anything, you can mail your receipts to [email protected] and ask if they can merge the subs resulting in one sub with a later expiry date.

But if u visit cnet or softonic there are also ads but those sites load faster.
That can be explained too. They run their own ad server. I'm probably just spoilt with bandwidth, but I think that any page load that takes longer than a few seconds (say anything over 4 seconds) is too slow. :)

The cause of the worst delays when loading pages on pretty much all websites, not just Stardocks, are ads. They are fetched from outside servers which tend to have MASSIVE loads on them. And the problem is obviously worse on weekends. I would think that ads make up a fair bit of all the network traffic on the internet. It's not uncommon for a website to have 4-5 ads on a single page.

Hm, I made a reply here, but it seems to have been lost in cyberspace.... Here I go again.
Haha good time wasted in philosphy. Messiah, I assume Karmat means user selectable transparency for the icons. It could be achieved with just modifying the icons, but it's kind of cumbersome, specially if it doesn't end up right, and you need to "reopacitate" all the dock icons. I would like the entire dock to become more transparent if the mouse is not hovering it. And to make it even more tricky, the zoomer dock should adjust transparency on the icons the same way the zoom works. Thus put more transparency on icons th
is there any free and simple software that has the options of winstep or more but isnt so confusing and challenging to use?
Winstep has tons of features, I very much doubt you'll find something free and similar/better that is less cumbersome to use. One of the most difficult things to do when making complex software is making a simple solid UI. Not very many people have a professional UI designer in their closet. A professional UI take

I'm not enough of an artist to make my idea look any good, so I'll just write it here.. Consider the idea "public domain", so if you like it, just draw it and enter the contest. If you use the idea, consider giving me a dash of karma. :P I'd make a winky that pulls down a zipper on the front of his own skin, revealing a t-shirt with the text "TWiS" printed on it underneath. Just for kicks his skin underneath could be leopard. ;)
