Greek gods like Poseidon and Heracles are some good ones that i use, along with big sounding names like Leviathan. Mostly i just leave them alone, and only rename them if there are 2 of them with the same name.

Personally, i would love to have a longer cutscene at the beginning of the game, when you start it up. Vanilla Sins had a really good one, and i was sorta disappointed with this expansion's cutscene. I really liked the concept of someone sitting in a chair and controlling something big in space. Please, devs, make this movie longer.

Upgrade each planet with their own form of leadership? Communism, Facism, Capitalism, Libertarianism, etc etc. These should provide bonuses for the planet, for example: Facism- Cheaper ships/orbital structures, lower population Communism- More Civillian slots but less Defense slots Libertarianism- Higher population but lower allegiance Capitalism- Higher planetary income but higher ship/orbital structure costs

I make a cap ship factory, build the 3 mining things, then make a Kol, 5 cobalts, 3 scouts and a colonizer frigate. Then go to the nearest planet and kill everything, then colonize. Etc etc

I also dislike that all capital ships turn out the same at level 10. The game says "customize your capital ships", but at level 10, every single ship in the game is 3/3/3/1. There should either be more than 4 abilities, or we should be able to put more than 3 points into some abilities, so at level 10 it could be 5/2/2/1 or some other variation.

Are you trying to colonize a mining station on a small asteroid? Only the colony frigates can do that. Otherwise, yeah. Only the ships that Annatar said can colonize planets/big asteroids.

Well, you can just reinstall the game. I did that once, when an expansion to a game was so terrible that i just had to uninstall or stop playing it. But on the other hand, i would appreciate all games having a little checkbox thing that could disable patches. FYI, if that ever does happen, disabling patches will most likely not allow you to play online.

Bomber Spam in Strategy Sins Forums

Is mass producing cap ships and those mini aircraft carriers a good idea? I mean, not the WHOLE fleet, but about 50-60 carriers. I find that having a massive swarm of bombers take out capital ships and key ships really helps in the close encounters.
