isnt there a multiplyer for it in the gmapley.constants file based on the difficulty you set? i take a look and see if i can find what your looking for.
its not regular sins its entrenchment (should of specified in the 1st post, sorry) that i really need the data for as i mod amount of SB, SB weapon range, etc. and some of the files wont convert to txt using the convertdata (using the one from the install directory & forgetools3) including some of the starbase files. as for impulse, would it be possible to put the patches in .exe form like patches to other games then just select and download which one you want throug

in regards to the reference data to the new patches, is there an eta on that since some of the binary files wont convert to txt using the converter. on another note will impulse ever have an option to let us choose which pacth we want to install, as to say all the patches will be selectable so if i want to install patch 1.12 i could though the latest patch might be 1.21?

my thoughts its easier said then done. the games are never gonna be as good as the movies since ur playing against ai/opponent and not urself. optmaly you have bombers, fighters, and interceptors. the fighters gaurd the fleet and escort the bombers to there target(then break off, engage enemy fighters and escort the bombers back to the ships), bombers which sole purpose is to attack enemy ships, and interceptors which conter the bombers. bombers would be heavily armoured and s

so i could see why my mod keeps crashing and fix the problem. i already tried the "showerrors true" and it doesnt work for me. EDIT: just checked my email, IC wants my to wait for an update for entrench as they think it will fix my minidumps. from what was there it doesnt even seem like they opened the minidump just kinda said "ok we see u have a minidump file here so wait for the next patch". sent a reply and i cant wait to see what they say.
ok i sent an email to IC support and have yet to hear back so do any of you know how i can open the mini dumps that the game makes. thanks.
before i get flamed please read my whole post. ok impulse is a form of drm as it does control how u install entrenchment and update sins, HOWEVER, it is one of the most mild forms of drm i've ever seen (most mildest form being the battlefield line or any line that only requires a cdkey). On a second note the game is so very good that i dont even care if inpulse is a form of drm, just be lucky its not made by ubisoft (ubicr*p) just look what they did to the farcry franchise.
did you try turning down the shader setting? (atleast i think thats what i was told) anyhow i was told that if the shaders are up too high you'll run out of ram (idk if its vram or just system ram) and the game will minidump.
