CD Rom, CD RW, Zip Drive Icons will NOT change with Icon Packager ... in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Please advise! I have tried the suggetion on the help page of the Icon Packager, but my icons still will not change for my CD Drives (I have a CD-Rom and CD-RW). Also, I have a 250 Zip which uses its own Icon. I would love to have these change to match the other in the icon theme. I assume the Zip is probably set by the software program that is used with it. I don't understand why the CD's will not change. Any suggestions on changing these? When I look at the icon theme or even in Desktop

I have tried repeatedly in the last two days (12x or more)to order OD from Stardock. I keep getting an error message"StoreFront has encountered an error with the page you are attempting to view. Please contact the webmaster at the site ..." I have also emailed Sales and gotten no response. Any idea what is going on? Thanks for the advise,BoXXi. I believe I will take your advise. I am downloading the trial version of Window Blinds this evening to see what I am in store for, but I tend to agree with you, financially it makes the best sense. I promise to make some of your themes my first to download! Thanks!

I appreciate all the advice in previous messages. Just one more request. Is it best to go ahead and get the Object Desktop system and as you say "explore" each program individually ... or ... just start with Window Blinds and add each other component later on? You sound like an apprentice with vast knowledge so I appreciate your recommendation. Thanks again!

Thanks to Ryan8024, Jafo and Zachary B. You have all helped me decide that the Window Blinds, Object Desktop, etc. will be well worth it. I look forward to changing the look on all three of my XP Prof machines. Most of all thanks for sharing your experiences and expertise. I have not yet purchase this program because I have some question... (1) What does this all offer? (2) How is it different that the Desktop Achitect (which changes the majority of what you see)? (3) Are there good instructions to follow? (4) I understand DA very well and love changing all the items in that program. If this does similar, but offers more it sounds like the ideal program. Please advise on this. I wait with anticipation!!!
