I'm going to comment on everyting that's been posted in this thread. The one thing that is required for something to be steampunk, and why WoW isn't steampunk even with steam gear is that Steampunk requires a Victorian setting. Jules Verne Novels are the referrence here, and epitomize what we now call steam-punk. Just think Victorian Era Science Fiction. And more recently, victorian era sci-fi/fantasy. *Magical atom splitting* in MoM this wou

It seems to me that their intent is to build a bunch of tools to make the game and use the same tools we will have. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to create alternate artwork for the armor for your custom races...Of course I don't work at stardock and am not involved in any way, but in other games that allow modification. Oblivion is an example., plenty of people made alternate body types, and had to mod armors to be able to fit those new bodies.

I don't understand what you're complaining about, form what I see having installed dosbox and MoM after being excited for this game, There are a lot of similarities from what we know for sure. Also this game has your whole list. The archmage=the channeler CHECK Empire building? CHECK Troops? CHECK MAgic? CHECK No this isn't gong to be MoM2, but who cares.
Even with the "Remove" label, that screen cap doesn't leave me much hope that we'll see a Neutral alignment in Elemental. Still, I'd like to be proven wrong by a faction or two on both the human and Fallen sides that have nearly as much in common with each other as they do with 'their side.' Don't even have to call it Neutral and carve out a third set of alignment-dependent functions. All we really need is some backstory and a few AI b

I just wanted to say that your company is original and I dig your philosophy. When I finally graduate this is where I'd want to work. ;) Your work in fields other than games informs your game-production in ways that other game companies could never imagine. This, I think is one of your greatest strengths.

WHy would we need to look at that for four years? The longest we have to see this trio is two years. If Democrats really screw up do you think Americans will vote them back into power?

Sowell is right that prohibitive levels of taxation can cause investment to leave the country. He intentional ignores that middle class persons keeping their own money creates more consumer spending. More spending is more opportunity fr profits. More opportunity will be more incentive to create products and provide services. The essential argument between liberals and conservatives on economics is the question of direction. Conservatives believe that

You guys are silly. Obama is calling for anything that is too radical. Bush pushed the deregulation and attempting to create a flat or even regressive tax structure too far. Taxes aren't only about lowering or raising, but about having the RIGHT structure. If you guys think the Republicans who ran congress when Clinton was president were socialists then go ahead and make this argument.
This week, Whoopi Goldberg acknowledged that conservative Elizabeth Hasselbeck gets the most death threats of any of the hosts of The View. I think that speaks volumes as to the "tolerance" of the left for other points of view.
OR it could be a result of the ridiculously overheated level her comments get up to. She's the memer of the show who calls Americans terrorists and unamerican. Death threats are not OK, but she walks right up to that line. <
