The host never actually is on battlenet. List checker lists the game on battlenet for people to join, but once they join up they're pretty much playing on your network.

As far as I understand it, it does not create a VPN.
sorry, but it does create a VPN , and the host IS actually on battle.net because it requires you to put in your account details for

listchecker creates a VPN (virtual private network), which is AWESOME, because when i host Dota games, i can play with several people on my home network, and people on battle.net, without having to worry about port forwarding conflicts(except for the actual host, they still have to port forward)
Blocking Port 6000 Then we find out that some routers block incoming traffic to port 6000. If you very quickly get a “NAT connection failed” that is why. You will need to tell your router to knock it off – port forward UDP traffic from port 6000 to your IP (or just have it unblock that port). I only know of a few routers that do this (Some Dlinks for instance).
:'( first time this is mentioned! then again, no result from doin

@levelheaded, you say this: "Seriously, dude. learn to chill. You cannot go haywire, in game or life, everytime someone throws harsh language at you." then you say: "Now seriously, this is worth hatemongering over though. Even ignoring the arrogance displayed, the amount of nonsense in that tiny portion of your text is already breathtaking." "All you realy need for a healthy community is people like you shutting

i dont have any ideas for demigods, but here are some abilities which i think would be cool: ability to pick up a tower(or one in each hand) and spin it around/throw it for x amount of damage --> increases damage per level, ofc tower would be teleported back into place but takes some damage from the use of this spell invisible moving wards -->on full level allows you to capture a flag for 20 secs or allows you to remove capture lock effect quicksand effect, sucki

i like all these ideas, some which will definately be implemented further down the road. i especially like the team bank or "money in the kitty" idea, this could change the dynamic of the game alot.

i dont know how GPG uses clans, but i do know about the clan system in WC3, which i really dislike. i hate the idea of having "shamans" or "chieftains" as i find that this promotes superiority, when this is infact a "team" game, kicking a player from the clan should be agreed upon by a large % of the people in the clan, as with joining a player to the clan. i also wonder about clan matches when demigod has alot of heros, will their be a banning and picking system like in dota?<

i want to leave dota for this game because i am sick of the community. but from what i have been reading in the forums is that there are still these immature players flaming people in demigod. i expect the "omg you @#$!ing noob u suck"if i am new at a game, but really, if you are going to say that couldnt you help them out? tell them what items/spells are good to get with certain demigods? i shouldnt have to hear people s

Has nothing to do with trying to avoid a loss on my record - in fact I didn't know that quitting would avoid a loss on one's record. Let me state this as clearly as I can: I could really give a crap about my win/loss record. I quit when there is some ridiculous exploit, some ridiculous OP-ness, or some ridiculous unfairness that I see being utilized. I
