The creator used to be at start up but they wanted to make it more in-depth so moved it to the workshop. There will no doubt endless options on release date. Did you join the beta late? There is a journal post about it but i am too lazy to find and link it sorry. Some people have suggested a simplified editor to be at start up aswell for quick faction building, but it remains to be seen if the devs will put this in or not. My guess is that if its not their already they

Also will the extra campaign be based on the books characters? As i understand it the book is set in the future of the game. Thanks in advance and great job with all your hard work, i hope it all pays off. Yes to both

You can currently start sov's with no spellbooks and dump all points into other stats. You would then focus youe tech on the four other trees apart from magic and hope your sheer force can crush any casters without too much trouble. I thought about doing it once but i wanted some magic in my wars [e digicons][/e] . I am pretty sure that spell books can be customised via modding, shouldnt be too hard lock them to specific factions either. Also remember there are a lot more magic
You do read the journal entries right? Didnt they say they just sent out builds to alot of places for prewiews etc and that they were doing interviews and stuff last week? My guess is that we will start to see alot more Elemental stuff over the next couple weeks building up to release. Saying Stardock don't care is a very disrespectful to the team, they are no doubt working their asses off on the actual product and PR. There is so many things wrong about comparing Elemental to
Done, could have been set out abit better and offer some more choices in some questions but overall it was cool.
Good call frogboy, teleportation is cool once in a while but it would mess with the epic armies feel of the game. I like rallying large mobile armies and out manuvering troops, i hate to have 'tanks' porting all over the place. I look forward to those custom map that will not doubt be made though :) , varity is what keeps games fresh and several posted have posted some pretty good ideas.
The only thing I dislike about the tactical battles is the scale. In the mockup above, they actually seem to be fighting in a specific location whilst (or at least...) in Beta 4 it just seems as though you are fighting on the world map.
I'm sure that the tactical backgrounds will be much more varied then the drab ones we have seen so far. There was a post a while back explaining that they only p
Great work.
Is this beta 5 or retail version?
