Ok I am loving my computer now. After several days of tweaking with Stardock's sofware I am running super smooth. I have decided to go ahead with Vista Ultimate 64bit as I have been downloading all my drivers (Compaq laptop) and all are 64 bit and I was assured by HP they are good. I can't wait to get this computer to 64 bit I hope it's worth it. My conly concern is iTunes which is problematic on good days...any Kudos to Stardock had I not tried at the very least ObjectDock I was going to buy

I went through and removed all the HP bloatware from my laptop and there was a massive speed boost. I am re-installing a full version of Vista myself. I was thinking of trying vlite, now I am not sure. I am maxed on 2gb of ram, although I am putting a 7200rpm hard drive in which is faster than the current 5400rpm one. I hope that helps me out.

Spoke too soon something is causing iTunes too mess up, can't play my TV shows. I love MXC and I am lost without it! I can't figure out what is up, I hope it's not anything I have installed and just all the junk I have put on and removed lately..Once I put the new hard drive in and Vista Ultimate I hope all is well.

I just want to make it better. It was Mac that drove me insane, and I don't know why. I just prefer Windows and over the years really have never had any problems. I think

I can't wait it'll be some fun, plus I might save up for a barebones Alienware so I'll already have Vista and a decent hard drive[e digicons]:)[/e] Btw off topic but I just thought of Angus Young, the new AC/DC album for any fans is awesome. I don't have it yet but have heard it and it's just so good.

I will, I got about a week before I will be home to pick up the goods so I am working on getting the drivers downloaded, iTunes backed up and everything. I want a smooth transfer and I can't wait to get Ultimate on here. Plus I am using this time to just mess around as when I install Ultimate I want to just put on the software I will definately be using.

I bought this Compaq notebook a couple months ago but I have been thinking I made a mistake so I've been considering moving back to a Powerbook. I lost control a couple years ago and beat my old Powerbook to death. I decided not to have a computer anymore because of the rage I felt toward them. Earlier this year I went to the Doctor for help finally. My blood pressure was high and it fueled the rage I was living with and She started me immediately on anti-depressants, blood pressure medicine,

I bought Object Desktop Ultimate as it looks to be the best deal. I am somewhat bothered that Dream seems out of my specs. I have a Compaq Presario with an nVidia 7000m 64mb video, mobile. I don't like anything less than the best quality so am I out of luck?

I have just starting looking around myself. I don't think the price is a ripoff but I have a couple issues. Well a few that are holding me back. I am thinking of moving back to Mac. However Stardock's software has made Vista much more liveable so I don't know. My only problems with the site are it's slowness, inability to select a page number, and limited sort options. I would like to skip pages, several if I want. I would also like the option to sort by Master Skin, or highest rated. Other t
