Sorry to say HorseRadish, but I don't think those players are pro enough to make this a competitive comparison. Of course the DA can beat other players if they are less skilled. The question is if he can compete in high level pre arranged teams. You'll rarely see Reg/Tb/QoT in such games either, I suppose.

You always assume team ganks, but alot of time you have to split up because of the flags. Regulus and DA will have hard time in 1v1. And whatever 2v1 or 3v1 you get in (except oak maybe), you're dead anyway if you don't avoid it early. You remember it's all about map control. Some DG have a huge advantage at map control, and Reg and DA are both not one of them.
Are there any plans to change pantheon matchmaking.... I see alot of waiting lines for pantheon where people could easily play if it wasn't for light/dark? 6-8 people waiting is really common. Last round it was light, this time it is dark.
Replays still have overlay issue if the dg you are watching dies. The overlay gets completly broken. Sometimes switching to observer mode and/or to another demigod helps, but mostly it doesnt. This is really annoying. Another issue with replays is the skill hotbar not updating on switching the demigod or randomly showing the skill icons of another demigod. This also happens alot.
Yes I think so, and spike wave needs to be buffed a little.
Spike Wave cost reduced to 600/800/1000 mana.
The new lord erebus- The king is dead, long live the king ;)
Late game with Wrap 5, crit and 40% dodge, the DA is really nasty, the problem is to get there... which is basicly impossible because the tanks will push you around all the time, and you have to run like a little rat (that you are). The other option is Wrap/Spine combo, which uses insane amounts of mana (you need EoM and Magnus Rod). At the point you can presure with 2000 burst damage your enemies have 6000 health and 15% heal every 8s. Generals heal everything back and UB will spit b
Movie 2 > Movie 1 > Movie 3. Rest = FAIL.
stardock has already stated the demigod is not primarily for competitive gameplay. so if you want that you have to use mods. there are some nice mods, and there is potential, but the modding is very young... this will need time. also how do you want to weight balance changes in a forum... ultimatly somebody has to decide what goes in and what doesnt.
The first 3 death were stupid. You don't engage 1v1 vs UB that hat BotF when you don't. It's suicide for any squishy dg. So you have massive feeding vs a triple tank team with 4 monks... gg. It's not only DA that's not viable, neither are Tb or Reg against any Oak/Ub/LE setup.
There is no way you can compete without monks on even teams. > 1000 heal every 8s on 2 or more enemy dg, how do you want to beat that.
Regulus usually won't be able to compete vs a UB/Oak/LE oder Sed combo. Any of these will slaughter him. In team ganks he is the prime target and dead in 3 secs. He is fun to play, but in my experience he is a liability that will get you a loss, in any close game. Playing a good regulus isn't easy. There's so many bad Reg players especially in pantheon. I don't get why noobs like him so much. He is toast vs any form of health stacking.
Actually there are more light players, however the dark side is alot more active. The pantheon should be all vs all, that way games would start alot quicker. So many times I have waited for 20 minutes with a stack of 7 dark players...
For some matchups fire tb is just bad. 3v3 with 2 assasins or only 1 general not being Oak/UB you usually don't wan't to go TB. There's simple not much you can do vs a UB/Oak/Sed or LE stack.
My suggestion was for crit to replace a flat damage, not stacking it on top of the favor. Maybe you misunderstood. ;)
Very sad. No new maps would be a reason to quit. Honestly.
Already been suggested. Try modding section.
- Mard's Hammer - +60 weapon damage, 10% chance to deal a critical hit for 2x damage This is too good. Only needs the second bonus. + maybe minor damage and/or another minor mod such as +5% attack speed
Shows gold on enemies Shows gold on enemy minions (rook towers)
15%/1.5x = +7.725% dmg 20%/1.5x = +10% dmg 20%/2x = +20% dmg 25%/2x = +25% dmg I'd wouldn't scale it like this. Just use 2x from the start. 5%/10%/15%/20% of 2x crit, which is +5/10/15/20% dmg.
Giving the Bramble Shield III reflect damage is a really cool idea. I like this alot. Around 25-40 I suppose would be ok. Spike Wave cost reduced to 600/800/1000 mana. Uproot: This needs some bonus to be considered. Massivly increased mana regen aura while uprooting would be nice. Something around 200-400%. And reduced shambler costs. I'd also like seeing the shamber AI fixed, if it is possible. These are all easy fixes that should be doable.
Even more important on larger maps, because the enemy doesn't have time to deal with all waves... and they'll pound on the defenses everywhere. I've seen 5v5 matches won because of Priest & Trebuchet. And about the erebus... 2600 health at level 8 => FAIL only mana items => FAIL level 2 minions => FAIL conversion instead of coven => FAIL> no mist vs UB => FAIL should I go on... ?
I know of 3 working builds of whom I like the Assasin build the most. 1. Assassin std build (Pestilence, Sheild, Surge, Devine) either with Cloak or BotF favor 2. Hybrid (see Kr5stel) 3. Full Minion build (PeterDumpTruck build)
What I see alot is that other dgs engage with LE even if they can't win. Some regulus waste their snipes on him, which he dodges or heals right back. LE is very tough and he can easily escape if he has mana. He's probably the best overall dgs. Very strong early on and still viable late game, although Oak and UB really shine late game.
Not everything is triggered by rooks shoulder arrows. Reflect isn't as far as I know. This would have to be tested and balanced.
