I am mostly worried about team coordinated game with 3vs3 or bigger. Each side will be forced to use a regulus, or lose. Because those non-reg players will just buy items and drop for reg to sell to get those money. With several of them, 26k isn't hard to get, then it will be all down hill for the other team if they don't have someone with those 2 godly items too. Even without mageslayer, ashkandor alone is enough to send other team to he

Well I don't like playing him, so that might be why I havnt noticed it I can say that 50-60% of the time Bite doesnt work after a bate-swarm. can confirm that... I bat swarmed in front so I could cut him off, wanted to bite and he ran away with me just standing there...
Agree. Had this happen several dozen times last night playing Erebus.&n
My favor works great in Pantheon. None is custom. I just have to rebuy the items every game but it works.
I've never played DoTA and I enjoy DG. Sure there's issues, sure SD says they'll be fixed. Read the posts. The CEO of SD regulary updates his customer base with what is happening behind scene. Name any other company that does that to this extent. If you play Sins, you know it took awhile to balance out some issues. You should also know how great the support is. Stick with it or leave. DG wis here for the long run.
As a full time reg player I use this strat a lot. The problem is vs. good players they don't give you that time to buy 2 massively expensive artifiacts. On april 30th I played a 1hr and 47min game on crucible. It was me on Reg with Sedna as a crappy feeder player until about the 30 min mark when they raged quit vs. 2 TB both using the regen artifact. I saw the 2 TB's so I setup for a dps pressure build knowing they'd t
I find it odd that you think this only works with Regulus. I guess you've never seen Rook crit for 9k.
Really? lol. No i haven't. That would be insane. But... even with the rook, to have those items + attack speed + life steal, you would have to sacrifice speed, allowing people to range damg him to lower his health. Still incredibly hard but not impossible. The fact that it's i

There just needs to be more "Expensive Endgame super items" that help spell DPS as well. I just don't like the fact that the best thing to do endgame is to get a super +Damage +Attack speed artifact and pwn with your auto attack. First one to Ashkandor wins...meh.
I agree. For all of those who posted "I have no idea what you two were doing, b/c TB owns mid-game and Regulus must have farmed you", here's my answer. It was an hour long game. We invaded their citadel 30min into the game, WITH giants . Heck, we even had more DG kills than them, a ratio of 2:1. It was at the last second that Regulus pumped all his money into mageslayer and ashkandor (I've done the same thing in another game, and came back to wi
It is only in late games that these issues pop up. Just has an epic 2v2 on Exile, 2 TBs vs Reg. and Oak. Game had lots of swings showing a good balance in class and damg. The issue came up around the 50min - 1hr mark. 1.) Ashkandor and Mageslayer make regulus OVERWEHLMING powerful. EDIT: (with only Ashkandor and Mageslayer, by lvl 15 Regulus deals <s

EVERYONE picks that, effectively making it useless since instead of running at 6.0, everyone now runs at 6.6 (excluding rook and erebus). There needs to be diversity in the favor items so people have to agonize over which ones to choose. As it stands now, most everyone just gets the swift
Man, when this game came out, all there was was crucible 2v2 on pantheon. It rocked! Now it's always 2v2 on HUGE 5v5 or 4v4 maps. I miss crucible. And yes, you can come back from the half way point, it's just really really tough. Need artifacts or that teleport item to jump the gap.
works for me. every pantheon game i start with some 3000 favor points. every custom game is 0.
Seems to be a pattern. I hardly ever use any other favor items, which makes me think they are not useful in a majority of situations, and if i go out on a limb, any situation. There are maybe only four or five good favor items that people cycle through.
As an avid regulus fan, i'll always use my snipe as much as i can. A dead enemy DG doesnt come back for 30 seconds. That can usually lead to large swings. Otherwise, I like your other posts. :)
Wait. I'm pretty sure those flags near the crystals on Exile are not +15 mana or hp /second but instead +15% to TOTAL mana or health. If you don't believe me, take the flags and watch your health or mana jumps several hundred points.
It's been two plus weeks since the release and now with the favor fix, most people should be gaining favor points to spend. So this begs the question, which are most useful and why choose those items. Torch Bearer - My top two: The one that allows a -20% ability cooldown to maximize spell casting and the Aml. of Teleportation. I only pick Aml. of Tele. when on large maps or on Dominate mode. The -20% cooldown stacks with th
Ice is WAY better than fire. Learn to use combos. You can easily kill most demigods if you can freeze them first, rain of ice, then shatter em. Plus, you can freeze buildings, not many people utilize that sadly enough.
Great job Stardock! Keep it up. Your updates are very useful and put the community at ease. I knew y'all do a great job on Demigod and its support, just like Sins of a Solar Empire.
The game truely shines in multiplayer. Single player is fine to learn and try out new ideas, but when you play a 2v2 or a 3v3 with real live people, boy does it get intensely fun. I saw give the game a chance, play online for abit. Pantheon's a blast, custom is fun, and when in doubt, skirmish offers a quick game. As for single player. No point in a campaign when everything can be learned in one day of playing skirmishes. Just my 2bits.
Devs, this needs to be addressed. A simple button for "surrender" would help. Or if all the human AI quits, then the other team auto wins. (that could be taken advantage of but not if the losing team that quit takes a lose for the match)
When is the fix for Favor Points coming out? I connect fine but would like FPs to work as well. :)
1.) Don't rage quit. Learn to play. Change the game around. It happens. Usually by saving up and going to the artifact shop. 2.) Mana gear rocks! I don't care who you play, you need mana to lvl quickly. 3.) Buying the cheap HP pot in the beginning can save you from dying and giving the other team $$$. Plus, if they follow you and you heal in range of your towers, they usually die an
