That's a good way of putting things Fuzzy Logic.....................but I'd rather be at DA where this "crap" you talk about is not moderated by someone who thinks like you which see's a persons work as fecal matter, who might actual think they did a good job, and that's alllll that matters in the end doesn't it.

I think this is a good newbie site as far as submitting a wall, skin or other so that someone else who is deemed as "competent" can moderate them. Gives you a sense of comfort when something makes it or it doesn't. For me I think I can make anything just as good or if not better then the moderators who "act" like they are all knowing but in reality can't and haven't shown me the best here on WC. I know they were picked to critique others stuff but I have seen several threads where someone has
I for one am not happy....I paid a subscription thinking I was at the right place.....all of this was before I started going onto the messageboard. Only to find out that a lot of what hashonboat has to say is true. You have your positive comments where people are happy here and then you have those that aren't but want to stay. It's up to the site to fix the problem because the person might leave but the problem will stay because someone else will take his place feeling the way he does. <
My reason for mentioning this is more of an outside looking in. I was a contributor of this site and I could not complain that I was being moderated unjustly nor that I was not getting feedback to let me know why one of my walls wasn't accepted. I simply couldn't stand the way people treated each other here. I guess for me it is better that I have an outlet where my humble work could be seen and need not worry about one person's opinion dictating that. I am not here to say that what I believ
This site is stuck on moderation and the need to rate submissions..................if you remove moderation you can allow people the option to rate the wall, or logon, or whatever else and leave it at that. I'm tired of everyone dancing around the issue on this. As you can see many people are pulling their work from your site. Nice to here from you but to be honest the problem now is the moderation, and I'm afraid that adding more to the process will just make it all worse for everyone. I feel that if Brad is so strong in his beliefs about the wallpaper section, then he should have it removed. Simple solution to an already drawn out problem. Like A_67 said though you will lose half of you contributors in the process. I doubt they will do that as they will loose business and we can't have that can we Brad.
I have to agree with A_67. To think that this was my home on the net and after deciding not to contribut anymore (in the "wallpaper" section no less), I still see that this site is unappreciative of it's artists. To make it worse, it's coming from the top that the wallpaper section is a waste of time. The walls are looked at differently as everyone has their own taste for what is good and what is well lets just say...the opposite. My stand point is from someone who has submitted their fair share of images and seen the qualtiy of work go down. Yeah, I'm not trying to sound like I've got resentment cuz I think Jafo could look at how many of my last 10 images....how many I actually submitted, which is probably like 12 or 15 not sure. I think I get a good percentage up, but I just feel the quality is down. If the moderators feel rushed I don't know what could be done about that...if that's the case.

I would have to agree wit you Zodiaq I for one don't claim to be a great wallpaper maker but I do have a sense that the quality of the images as of late are lacking. I only say that because when I see the images that were made in Bryce and "only Bryce" since I do not use any other 3d render program, I see very minimal quality in the work. I guess because I exam the image to see how it was made.
Wrong or right I just feel the approach to enlighten him is being done in poor taste. That is my 'opinion', I myself don't understand fully whats going on but as it seems right now....the top author list is misleading, and there is better ways of telling him "See ya, and close the door behind you".
I can't help but feel bothered that soooo many people are seriously ganging up on Nikos for feeling the way he does. If nothing else put yourself in his shoes.
