Thanks Doc and RND! Tim, I'm using a firefox clone - Pale Moon (25% faster, you should try it) but anyway I tried disabling the theme and I'm still getting the issue. I never noticed it before, so I guess the next step is reinstalling my browser - firefox and pale moon. But I guess it's good news that I'm the only one who's having problems haha

Thanks for the pick, ID. Congrats to everyone else........always good-lookin stuff coming from this community.
can you tell me what gadget for recycle bin are you using in the third screenshot
It's part of a rainmeter skin called Razor, by minhtrimatrix. http://minhtrimatrix.deviantart.com/art/Razor-158568197
Thanks for the quick response Brian, but here's the thing.........I did skin that part. But it's not showing up in Internet explorer and it's being glitchy in Firefox. [e digicons]:S[/e] I've even tried importing that part from another skin, and it was fine in IE, but still had those ugly boxes in Firefox. I'm really confused about what might be causing this problem..........I may have accidentally changed something in "skin colors"..........could that be the proble
Need some help - the menus and right click menus are acting strange in firefox. They are normal in windows...........if I right click on the desktop, there aren't any bars like this. I must have accidentally changed something because I never saw these grey bars before in firefox. If anyone could help, I would really appreciate it. I'm not sure what I need to do or change. Here's the screenshot: <img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2771/4533799322_512dd63d49_
C'mon.......Try it..... [e digicons]:-"[/e]
I came across this browser on lifehacker.com. It's a firefox clone that uses all of your current firefox add-ins, but it's supposedly faster. I installed it and ran it and it looked exactly the way firefox does, including all of my bookmarks and history being there........I didn't have to do any more work. I figured I would try to get some feedback here at WC. My personal opinion, I think it is indeed faster. According to Lifehacker.com: "Windows: If you're a devotee of Firefox's
Happy Birthday Dave!! [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e]
Any news on when this might be available? I'm looking forward to trying it out [e digicons]B)[/e]
I kinda want to see it. At first, I thought it just looked stupid but a more in depth preview lead me to believe it will actually be pretty entertaining/funny. Let us know how it is [e digicons];)[/e]
did I miss something? I don't see them in any Of the Screen Shots
Haha yeah sorry, I've been constantly replacing the screenshots in the OP to show changes. Each time I update, I seem to be using a different wallpaper. As for the graffiti wallpaper currently being used, I did not make it, so therefore it won't be included in the blind. However, here's the link for your convenience. <a href="http://grungetv.deviantart.com/art/Grabstract-WP-1586922
I've updated both the screenshot for the blind and also the icon pack so far that I'm working on to compliment the theme. The screenshot also shows one of the docks I'm making to go along with the blind. If you'd like an icon that isn't pictured, just let me know and I'll add it. By the way...........I still need someone to test on vista..... [e digicons]:-"[/e]
And when that medical condition is worth about $20,000, then maybe you are the crazy one.
Everything is a medical condition now-a-days. It's normal to be weird, and impossible to be normal. In your case, you have a pretty nice medical condition that I hope I'm diagnosed with someday [e digicons];P[/e]
Did you win the lottery?? [e digicons]o_O[/e] You're livin' like James Bond with all that techy stuff. That's just awesome, and I'm honestly jealous. My desk consists of my laptop and........ a Galileo thermometer. If I had half of those things, I'd be showing off too haha. As for the issue of how to get more desk space, I would suggest building a shelf along the entire wall and getting a chair that rolls really well. Or, you could move it all into the starship, Capta
Truly great work here, RND. I'll be in line to try this one out. [e digicons][/e]
My current and first WIP, ClearGem. Here's the thread to follow progress: https://forums.wincustomize.com/378855
I've decided to make a bundle of icons to go with this theme. Here's a preview of what some of them look like. I will be making a large set, if there are any special requests, just let me know.
Would anyone be willing to test this on Vista once it gets near completion? I don't have much further to go, and I would really appreciate it. [e digicons]B)[/e]
As long your not using graphics from the skin I see nothing wrong with doing that.
I agree.
Seriously?? Even just a dock that has black and red graphics? That's a little bit ridiculous.....[e digicons]o_O[/e]
We could, however, make an original theme that just fits the hyperdesk theme without using their graphics, right? I might give it a try later today, just for fun.
I made this new skin with reflection and true stretch, and whenever I go to change icon size, my computer crashes, windows explorer and everything. I have to log out and log back in. I'm running windows 7 64 bit ultimate. Any help is appreciated. EDIT - I think I've pinpointed the problem. It only crashes when I change icon size too quickly while using "bubble" effect.
Looks like multitasking is now supported. I just don't understand why they didn't go ahead and put that on the ipad too.......oh well I'm sure they will update that soon. I would be much more excited about this if I had an iphone [e digicons];P[/e]
Remember the video is just a concept that isn't associated with Microsoft...........we might not see ANY of the things in that video. It's purely an idea / guess. I'm sure we'll see OS improvements that don't have to do with making folders more accessible.........well i hope so.
New technology is developed and released with one point in mine, to grab the consumer's money. The consumer will be led to believe that it was all about improving the users experience.
Good point. However, in my opinion I do think Microsoft has a good reputation for making improvements in their OS releases. There's definitely truth in what you are saying, but I would just like to point out that it could be worse.
