Didn't Zeke get all deformed? I want to see how everyone reacts to him coming alive again. Alfr'eda? Sounds a little like Alfredo...

Actually, the Halo Mod I'm working on is only for 1.05, and it's really annoying because I can't get 1.05 and 1.16 (or is it 1.17 now) working on seperate copies. No, it's not out yet. I'm talking about the team alpha.
What kind of programs are you all using to make these ships? I can't find any sort of good open source programs. I tried Google SketchUp, but it's hard to understand. I'll give uber karma to anyone who can help me find a good open source 3d modeler. And karma to anyone who at least tries.
BLENDER!!! Why does nobody here know what that is?
Yep, 16. And yes, it can be modded to be higher. DOn't ask me, I know nothing about Sins code.

However, Halsey said that Destroyers are the same excdept 7 meters longer because of e
I should have Entrenchment soon too (yay 14th birthday), but Impulse is being super-retarded. I restarted it to download Entrenchment after buying it, it said my account wasn't valid, and I can't find either where to log in or where the fact that I bought Entrencment is... Yeah, I see it. That does look like a punctured spot, but it has to be there for a reason.
I think he's saying PLANETBONUS_GAMEOVER.entity is that particular planet bonus.
Yeah that sounds about right. Does the other PC stop comminucating with yours when it desyncs? It was like our ally just stopped doing anything. Although, he was able to give me credits and see my pings, and we could chat. It's too bad, that was a fun game.
What? The Halcyon is the second coolest Advent cap (behind Radiance). And has anyone noticed the revelation looks exactly like a giant pepper, stem and all?
The last part is only in Entrenchment . I spent a bunch of time, money, and research to get the cannon, phase gates, and faster phase gate travel, fired the shot, and nothing happened. When ordered to the affected planet they tried to make the ~7 planet jump i was trying to avoid due to the only choke point being heavily fortified on both sides.
My friend and I have been carrying on a great MP game for about a month now in which we were both Advent locked allies. About a week ago we noticed some wierd occurences, such as getting notices of allied caps dying when they had actually leveled up. Today it got even wierder. His map showed that my whole empire had been taken over by an empire that from my view had been decimated by me (all they had left was one 'roid). He then said where I wanted him to send his fairly large fleet, and I la
No, it's your story. I also noticed the Kol thing before the edit. I think it was a good balance of subtlety and straightforwardness, but changing it was fine if people didn't catch that.
I guess that's true, but it's only Fighters and Bombers who say it and in Sins, there's nothing more tactical than strike craft. It's mostly the Outer Sector Mobilization part that got me. Still great though.
Not to be a nag, but I'm almost positive that TACCOM stands for Tactical Command. Love the story though. Wonderful writing!
Pirates definitely wouldn't have carriers. They're too ragtag for that. I'm going to preemptively say they shouldn't have support cruisers either for the same reason (also, IC gave them a frigate with AM, but it has no abilities). The "Brute" should probably be a salvaged Akkan because it's probably the weakest DPS cap and a rich target with all the civilians in the dome. Very lore-based explanation, but I think that's the whole idea. Not that the pirates really need new ships,
each little figher (NOT SQUADS) give 2 xp and each bomber gives 3 xp. I had Advent & TEC Bombers with 6 xp, not 3. And surprisingly, Vasari bombers give 11 xp each (not sqauds).
Vasari bombers (as with pretty much all of their ships) have higher hull and DPS, in addition to phase missiles. The counterbalance is fewer per squad (like 3 for Vasari, 4 or 5 for TEC and 6 for Advent, off the top of my head).</p
I was thinking about that earlier. I think it should be applied for just the frigates (not colony or siege). Due to their size, manevering by rotating sideways and then thrusting what was "up" before they rotated (hope that made sense) is a much more feasible system of movement than for larger ships, and allows for better evasive maneuvers. I believe the In Amber Clad kind of moves like that when approaching New Mombassa in Halo 2. Overall you're right though, ships like the Marathon would no
Ok I got it working but all Halo ships say "string not found". I guess it's fine thoguh; it still lets me test everything.
Well, it loaded the mod, but the only thing that was different was that the Halo music was playing and you could choose the UNSCDF symbol. No UNSC or Covenant factions. I copied everything from the Sins folder except sound and overwrote anything that conflicted. What happened? Did I somehow replace the entire mod with Sins files except sound?
Ok, thank you. That sounds easy enough. So, if I do this, the mod will be permanant?
Thanks, but I don't fully understand. Let me get this straight. 1) I copy the mod onto a seperate folder. 2) I delete the orignial mod. 3) I copy the reference data (where do I find that?) onto the new mod folder and replace [what] vanilla data? Sorry but I don't know anything about the actual code and that post wasn't very concise. I understand that you're not obliged to do this so thanks for your time.
Did someone say 1.16 version??!?! I need that because for the life of me I can't get 1.05 and 1.16 running on seperate copies. It'd be great if you could get me a 1.16 compatible alpha (I settled for 1.16 so I can play normally). [e digicons]:pout:[/e]
I've read them. They were really good, but I kind of got a little confused and less interested after the original ones (wasn't the main character Shea or something?) and a few others where there was an evil government controlling the "whole" known world or something. Still great writing though. I mostly like the Halo books, but I found a really good Forgotten Realms novel in my Language Arts room. I only read the first in the series but it was pretty good. <a href="http://forgottenrea
Yeah I agree. From what I've heard it is true to Halo, but maybe to make it so your fleet isn't half dead by the time you can get to the battle site and select them, we could lower all damage values proportionately.
