I'm very impressed with what you have done. I'm a fortunate recipient of the free copy of FE and FE:LH. Stardock is in my top 5 developers and I will gladly support them. You have my money for future expansions in LH and any future games that you develop. Keep up the good work!!!
I have had it happen to me a few times. I normally don't like to use Ctrl-N, but cases like that I usually do.
It should be in your Downloads section of the Stardock Store on the Stardock website. At least that's where mine was. But then again I was fortunate enough to get a free copy from Stardock.

Wow what a newb I am. Just got home from the oil patch and finally downloading the LH beta. I also picked up Civ 4 from Steam (+ expansions) as well. I also decided to get the Fall From Heaven 2 mod eventually. Never played it before but wanna see what all the hype is about with that mod . This next hitch is going to be the best one ever!!!
I would also like to express a "Thank You". I wont be able to start the LH Beta until I get home in about 3 weeks and have a stable Internet connection to get onto Steam. However, I have FE installed on my laptop and it has greatly helped passed the time up here in the oil patch!! Can only watch so much TV... haha
Just out of curiosity... does anyone know if 1.3 will be the last update for FE before LH goes into Beta? I just downloaded the update but have to wait until I get done with work to get it installed.

Love the show! Watched them on Netflix numerous times, and try to catch the new ones on AMC when I can (or remember to use my DVR).
If you have the Map Pack DLC there are stamps in there that have random roads in places. I don't use mods at the moment and I get those roads. Pretty sure those are customs stamps specific to the DLC (when generating random maps).
I haven't played a TON of v1.2 FE yet. I'm up at work and have a game going right now where I put an hour or two in a night before bed. I'm a little over 100 turns in and am liking it so far. I was exploring with my sov and found Gilden territory (playing Altar). As far a power rating goes he's only 2 or 3 points ahead of me (playing on challenging). Yeah it's the Trading technology in the Civilization tree. And there is another technology that will connect roads to outposts (can't remember off the top of my head)
Hmm interesting. I don't rename cities myself but sounds like when you are renaming them somehow it's not changing the name internally so it isn't carrying over to messages/notifications/etc. You are probably right in that it is a bug.
It is my understanding that if you already have a game started with a previous version you need to start a new game after patching to the new version. I could be wrong but everytime a patch comes out I just delete my old saves and start fresh. Not sure exactly if you patch and load a save game from a previous version if the new changes will be in effect for that game. EDIT: In regards to relmich's question
Would just like to say thanks to all the modders out there that are making mods for the community. I don't mod myself but hopefully someday I can dig into it (not much free time). You guys use your time/resources to make things that expand on this already great game! I agree with Heavenfall. If I wanted to be put down I can just log into Xbox Live and play some CoD or something and listen to 12 year olds talk shit and say things I wouldn't even say lol.
In my opinion I think the majority of the people on this site are mature players you love strategy games (and are gamers in general). Personally I will always be a gamer until I can't physically play games any more, which I hope never happens. I love reading the forums here even though I don't generally post alot myself. People here are very helpful when others have questions and don't put people down, especially people that are new to FE or strategy games in general. &nbs
Appreciating the regular updates/fixes!! Also on an unrelated note... I was just wondering if in a future patch if it would be possible to incorporate the ability to select a random starting soverign when starting a new game? I really enjoyed this feature in Civ 5 (and other games) in that sometimes I really didn't know who I wanted to play as so I just picked random and just went with whoever the game picked for me. Thanks!

As I said before ( and a few others). Would be nice to set your lineup for tactical battles. Just doesn't make since to have archers defaulted to the front lines.....
