Reply to Uninstalled...still seeing Gray Gloss icons in some directory structures... in MyColors Stardock Forums

Try opening Mycolors, go to the Settings tab, and select the Rebuild Icon Cache button. You can also try the following fix which is listed as a blank icon fix, but also works for stuck icons: https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=view Download the "Blank Icons Fix" for your platform (32 or 64 bit) and run it. Make sure to right click and run as admin if you're using Windows Vista.

The difference between your issue and his is that you're able to run the game in the first place. He was getting that error due to not meeting the minimum requirement to run the game. You were getting the error because your Game.Prefs needed to be replaced. In the future I would recommend deleting just that file instead of the whole folder.

Is it crashing at some point during the long load or are you exiting the game? Is there a [no text] on the loading screen? If so, try deleting Game.prefs file that's located here: (My)Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod
