my sound sounds choppy when i play sins, i have recently installed it on vista. my audio card is a sound-blaster-so its not the audio card- 3.5 gigs of ram and a 2.7 dual core processor anyway to stop this?

i just "upgraded" to vista, ive just installed sins and entrenchment. when i ran entrenchment... it went loopy. graphics were jumping all over the place, no sound. is this normal? should i reinstall? should i chuck my computer out the window?
