i know that length good... I was playing with the DS mod on one of their maps... and for some reason if a scout or a colony frig or a starbase ship flew to my cap planet or this one volcano planet... they would come out of hyper half way through the phase jump and be forced to fly the rest of the way... Needless to say i was not pleased when I found out my fighters would go after enemies for that whole trip. <
didnt they have like 10 planets deep within their empire all working on something? THen those went dark and they sent the fleet in... the fleet never came back so they few left ran with their tails between their legs?
I do play against the AI for the most part... internet sucks for online. Ya I love them against the AI. Ya know.. Get a few planets on a large map.... defend them... save game... turn all 9 AIs to unfair and watch the fireworks...
Is there any way to turn off icons for mines? I like to play longer games and like to build mines... but the more I build the slower the game seems to get. Is there any way to stop that from happening? Or should I just stop using them? I do like them though.

Ok so i downloaded and installed the mod the beta and the extras... when I start a game it was Distant sun but I do not see anything new that the mod did. Did I do something wrong? Or what should I be seeing? What should I do to fix it? I see no new research

Ah harpo My sins is 1.0.2.0 and my developer is 1.0.0.0 any idea on how to fix that?
sins is the latest version and the forge tools is whatever it was last at. I downloaded it yesterday so I would assume the latest
well the scan showed nothing so I have no clue why I cannot run it
i didn't do anything to make sins run. It just ran. I am scanning my comp to see what might be wrong

well sins can only be played on a PC and thats what I got the tools on... I don't know why it can't make those files work at all.. I thought I had downloaded it to the wrong place but... idk

So I have been reading up on modding and what not and I feel as though this is a very stupid question... but When I extract the forge tools where do I extract them too? I have looked around and not found anything as to where.. And what do I open to start? I extrated it to several places and tried to open the sins entrenchment developer but got an error saying d3dx9_36.dll was not found. Any help would be nice =/
