i've never tried, but I don't think one egg alone can be an upgraded vasari starbase, the health is way to high, and the weapons on that thing are do massive damage.

Flipkik The halcyon is way better at dealing with SC's than the kol. With telekenetic push, it's the best anti SC weapon out there, also without touching the keyboard. As for scouts "raping" an advent fleet, I'd like to see that.

also, star bases cost WAY more than illums. By the time you can get one up and running, with full health and lots of fire power, which does take a long time, the advent will have destroyed it

The only viable explanation of phase missiles is through use of quantum physics. Ever heard of wave-particle duality? It's the same principle, where basically their "missiles" are light based, and not really matter, while shields are composed of a something similar. why would logic say no? just do what logic says: build what you can until you can do better. don't make fleets of lrfs especially on small maps because you simply don't have the time. the computer is doing what is logical, using small simple units, aka cobalts, because they are cheap and fast to use when nothing else is available. you would spend to much money and time making better units when you already have frigates to fight with. just do what the AI i

if you want to destroy frigates, bombers do little damage, go with fighters also, carriers are generally quite expensive, go with some lrfs
