Ok, yes, they do. BUT, I discovered that they are the "apps" that can be made in Edge, when you are on a site and want to make an app of that site. So, in properties it looks like it points to This PC, file location is Desktop, but it does open the site. So in short, they're website shortcuts.

I have not yet gotten to the Mac selling level yet. I don't have the demand for them, plus, I like them so much that I tend to want to keep for myself....lol!!
