unless the karma system is regulated by stardock, then it's a bad idea IMO as not only griefers will catch bad karma. i'm more looking forward to the personal banlist, assuming that's still coming.
thanks to bman's discovery, we can only hope that this annoying bug will be fixed for impulse play. i can start playing QoT and sedna more frequently again.
sedna's heal is counted against her damage? haha.
default settings unless advertised otherwise FTW, for now.

WE HAVE NEVER DISCUSSED THIS BEFORE.
everyone agreeing with me FTW!!! if someone thinks or plays different, ban them!
Are you referring to warskull or chaos? I want to know if warskull was banned for his comments.
yes, he was.
we are arguing the morality, for lack of a better word atm, of the situation. that's the whole point. everyone knows this is stardock's forum and that they published demigod. we don't like what they did regardless of this fact. it should have already been implied that we know this is stardock's gig, because we're posting ON ITS FORUMS and arguing on behalf of someone they banned. the effort on the part of warskull's friends is in order to get stardock to unban hi
just about every single game company i've run into (1) doesn't ban in-game accounts for forum behavior unless said behavior is extremely offensive (racism, sexual harassment, illegal content, etc), (2) doesn't hand out permanent bans even on forums unless the poster has a bad track record or breaks the most important forum rules That is because usually the moderators of the other game forums usually are volunteers who are not employed by the comapny. Also, not handing
Hell, even EA Games or Activision Blizzard can and will ban people like WarSkullX. They won't lose shares from banning one guy. Hell, EA cheats all their fans out of their money, what do they get? They get to be the biggest game developer/publisher around. Yay.
i don't have much experience with EA multiplayer, because i don't typically buy their games blizzard does not ban in-game accounts + forum accounts for stuff like warskull's post.&
It's really a simple life lesson. Insults and tantrums do not solve problems.
as seen by the reason for this thread and how many of us view warskull's banning: a possible tantrum on the part of an employee. and stop referencing other moderators and companies as being harsher. the treatmeant of warskull is probably the harshest treatment i've seen from a mainstream company. just about every single game company i've run into (1) doesn't ban in-
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Stardock a Private Company and able to operate in any way it so choses? Unlike EA Games or Activision Blizzard, where they are held accountable to their Share Holders, Stardock is able to conduct itself without the focus on the almighty dollar at every waking moment. With this in mind, these bannings are understandable as in the real world crap like this simply wouldn't be tolerated -
I didn't know this warskull guy but I read his post on helms and it was very informative. However, we do not know the whole story. I would love to hear the story from Stardock's side.

If you simply mail sales and request a refund, no, there is no reason you would get banned. Because if that is the way the community is and you're not happy being here, obviously it's not going to change in your favor.
Then why are you still here?
are you dense? he's here because he wants to play the game, and he's upset that his friend/teammate got banned/refunded despite having not broken any forum rules. what warskull did was arbitrarily decided to be a bannable offense.
Tiny can you be specific? Someone from your Tournament team? Because, WarskullX, one of our teammates just got banned for... constructive criticism. There's a thread up about refunds, he posted on-topic with his opinion, in his usual professional demeanor, and got "refunded" out of the game. If you look at his posts he's one of the most constructive participants on this forum - like the recent thread about helm balancing in mu
I can come off rough sometimes, and I'm starting to feel like if I say something that someone doesn't like I'm going to get kicked out of this and all future games. If you drop by and vomit on every thread on the board, frequently going off-topic and being genuniely 'disruptive', then I'd certainly hope that was the case. This isn't a random head-shot from a rogue disgruntled mod. The guy went overboard and anyone who's
and we don't need negative karma. report people if they're breaking the rules. let's make a more robust internet conduct grading system! no, wait, your desire to be able to gang up and conspire with your fellow boring posters is as lame as you making a post about how someone is troubling you "oh so much." that all being said, the ability to personally ignore other posters is a tried and true forum feature.
chaos was borderline annoying, if anything

he died to AI structures and units while messing around. let's focus on that instead of him being matched up against 0 players.
stardock and GPG need to work on making DemiGod's multiplayer much more robust than it is right now. that way, the players that want to get better and have a good time can better avoid leavers and the like (or take advantage of their stupidity), because people who chain leave will have bad rankings and people who don't will be able to play against each other more often.
Look at that, someone was nice enough to explain how you can play to beat UB. Instead, you respond to my provocative and elitist remarks. Seems to me like you're more interested in whining than learning how to play better...
quit being a toolbag.
