Snipe does almost as much Damage as Fireball and has HUGE range and no minimum range It does less damage at close range, has a large casting time which makes it easier to interrupt (and the fact that you're not auto-attacking or using other damage skills during the charge mitigates your overall damage output a bit), and has a much larger cooldown than fireball. In a given fight, I'm almost guaranteed to land two firebal

As Regulus, its all about the first encounter. I always take Blades of the serpent as my favour item. Next, I purchase the scailed mail, gauntlets of Brutality, and a small potion. AF along with BotS means I never have to buy a mana potion. Duke it out at the first flag. Most UBs take the speed anklet and/or the speed boots. If he spits then thats why you have a potion. Do not forget to activate BotS. If you can bully him off the lane, you will outlevel him initially. If your still fi

IMO, mines are fine because you have to step on them for one. Second, there are the goggles and the 50gp scroll item that allows you to see the mines. Third, if your UB, doesn't capping out frenzy negate any movement altering skill (I know you have to already be using the skill)? Minions and creeps can set them off. erebus can teleport. Qot can shield... vengeance is worthless because of the 2 sec shutdown of skills. By the time you get vengeance, you should already be shoo
With Maim, Mark, and Mines, Regulus already has a ridiculous number of movespeed altering moves. Giving him speed increase in Angelic Fury, which is very easy to run infinitely even barely mid game, would be a huge mistake, imo.
Actually, a 1% increase per skill selection in AF would be nice. Come on, Regulus himself said he'd move faster if only he had wings :) I a
Mark of the Betrayer really doesn't need any help. With that and mines, I see slows that look like around 90%(I've heard it's bugged?). Then again, in some cases, having it go off before the ability would actually be a nerf. Sedna could cast heal on herself and eat the damage. Oak's shield would dispel the slow down. QoT's shield wouldn't take the extra hit so it would stay up longer. It's a buff against ere
Transitive: it sounds like what he's trying to say is, you cast Mark of the Betrayer, and you gain a 'buff' that causes you to apply the debuff to the next Demigod you damage. Not sure how that'd work with cleaving effects like angelic fury, and not sure how much of an improvement it'd be, but it's an interesting idea.
Not applying the debuff to another demigod but just negating it. I'm running from a UB and he
i think your distinctions between "main fighter" and "support" are not on target at all. both roles are available to each DG and each DG performs each of these roles differently. the choices you are forced to make regarding favor items and gold spending are crucial elements of the game and have no bearing on any particular demigod. i think you're a bit over-valueing Swift Anklet if you see yourself as fatally flawed if you chose a different favor item instead to boost your damage or ma

Regulus Angelic Fury - Since you get wings, how about a small speed boost. Mark of the Betrayer - Have the skill fire off as soon as the enemy uses a skill, not after. Mark of the Betrayer - Enable the skill to be cast on yourself as a future debuff. ALL LEVEL 15 SKILLS ARE TERRIBLE Vengeance - Seriously? Lets make the fin

As Regulus, I really didn't have a problem with UB until I had the privilage of playing against one particular UB player. Because of his build, I could not teleport, outrun, or drink a potion. His attacks negated any speed I had (wand of speed 1250gp). His combo of spit, grasp, and spit almost always killed me with my auto attack build. The symbol of purity is great and all but the cooldown factor really doesn't help the situation. It was quite the humbling experien

Can we please have this skill fire off as soon as the opponent clicks a skill or item? or Allow Reg's to cast it on themselves thus eliminating the next debuff? also Minor speed increase with Angelic Fury. Weird listening to him complain about not moving faster without wings. You get wings but he still moves the same speed.

Once he hit me, I couldn't outrun him even with that wand of speed. I've now spent all day at work trying to figure out how to counter *his* build. Unfortunately, it screws up my auto attack build royally. The symbol of purity is great and all but the cooldown factor reall
Regulus: I am a big time Reg player. I can safely say that some nerfs should be made on Reg. First off, I think mines should cost more mana, and have a longer casting time. Second, I think Snipe should have it's late game damage reduced, or atleast should not be able to hit enemies in the fog of war. If they are in the fog of war it should not connect. Other than that, Reg is fine. If you can get up in his face and past his mines, he is screwed.
Mines have so many count
I can't see this build being very good at the beginning or even middle of the game without any utility burst damage like mines and snipe, and how often do games really last long enough for a "stat-stomping" Regulus to get beefy enough to be effective? Well, at least you get Sniper's Scope I early on for tower destruction and MotB I for some snaring and surprise burst, but even still...
Unfortuna

Actually, thats a pretty good build. I would recommend a couple tweaks to try out. First, angelic fury and enhanced attributes are a must but try to get the enhanced attributes a little later into the game. Evenly distribute your points in enhanced attributes, mines, and Mark of the betrayer. Second, if you are trying to be an auto attack build, then you may want to focus on damage output.

I think a lot of people don't use Regulus to his full potential. First, know your map and the win conditions to determine which build to go with for Regulus. I skip snipe entirely unless its a first to kill 20 map. In all other maps, I tend to take down more towers than DGs. Its all about the push. I could care less if I win the kills aspect. I always max out my attributes line. btw, I like having a full game. If you snipe kill too early, people leave. Once people comm
