But later on, some updates later, i could not connect at all, and now the problem stays It does not crash or something, its just sayin
If its saying your ports are not open, then they simply may not be open. Make sure when opening the ports you are using your internal ip not the public one (to get the internal go to start menu -> run -> cmd -> then type ipconfig and hit enter, this will show you the internal ip address). If you keep having problems with port forwarding you can try to use stardock proxy servers, that way their servers handle your connection between

If you are sure that you configured your router correctly, the problem could very likely be upstream. It couldn't hurt anything to give your ISP a call and ask if they are blocking the traffic destined to those ports.
Lets say they are. Then what would happen? I'll be unable to play Demigod completely? Well, I am

I've tried portforwarding countless of times and counter-checked with PFPortchecker, and Portchecker claims my ports are always closed. I followed Portforward's guide correctly for my 2Wire router but it doesn't work. I've disabled all my firewalls before conducting the check but to no avail. Apparently, my network map is a little different from the rest. Its like this: Wall phone line socket/Internet >> Router >> PC Yes, I have no modem, weirdly. Maybe my

Depending on your resolution, the HD4770 is the best bang for your buck now. It's performance matches up to the pricier HD4850. Whatever the case, even if you're gaming at a high resolution eg. 1920x1200, the HD4770 should have no problem handling Demigod assuming your CPU is also decent and you have >2GB RAM. So yes, the HD4770 has a huge potential in it for it's measly price. Awesome card. Nvidia and it's fanboys have been put to shame thanks to this card.

If, after portforwarding, and the game doesn't work, spending another 48hours playing with your router or modem would really not help as the fault lies with GPG/Stardock and their AWESOME P2P connectivity in an attempt to reduce delay to minimal. Yeah great, I'm having 0 delay. DOI, I'm not able to PLAY. AT ALL. Kudos Stardoooooock. And GPG. For being so ambitious in trying P2P when it phails, SO BAD.

I prefer patches that come in small-sizes, but of course, the patches so far is very good to see as Stardock is working on Demigod frequently, but fact is I am still unable to connect. LOL much.

I've purchased Demigod for a week over and its quite frustrating to say that I've NEVER EVER been able to connect to ANY SINGLE online multiplayer game. Not the Internet, not LAN. I've never entered an online game lobby before. Its really really sad. I guess I'm going to leave Demigod for another week and if nothing changes, I will just treat it as money well spent to learn to never ever buy anything from Stardock ever again.

Lets just view things optimistcally. I guess Stardock is working pretty hard as they are taking a bold step in implementing P2P instead of the traditional server-based hosting to improve our gameplay quality as P2P has almost no delay as compared to server-based hosting that has quite a couple of delay which can really hinder a RTS game. Even though I applaude them for taking such a bold step, if their 'bold step' does not work, I'd rather they not try it and just return to traditiona
Tried it, doesn't work. I have never even once reached the lobby. It is unbelievable, because I never have problems with other games. Perhaps a real server-client structure (tested and from the start up) would have been better... But right now, I am a bit frustrated, because it seems that I only find 5-6 games in custom games mode and when I try to connect, nothing happens except I see myself and waiting to connect to other players. Looks like everyone here is having problems and no one is able to help each other. Lets just sit back and jam up a few single player or LAN in the meantime. I'mma get back to Steam and L4D/TF2 a little while this sorts out. We'll see what Stardock is capable of (: (no sacarsm intended)
Static internal IP is what you need ie. 192.168.1.65, this makes your port forwarding on the router always stay linked with your computer. Often this is found by going to network devices in you router and looking for an option like 'Always use same IP' ect. I'm having problems connecting to the multiplayer in Demigod, thus I went to google up on portforwarding and found a few information I could try. However, after forwarding the ports in numerous guides, the PortForward checker still claims my 6100 UDP is not open/unreachable. I'm completely at a lost. I disabled all my software firewalls to n
