Right now, I expect A significant Romney win (no landslide on the popular side, but a large majority on the EC side).[/quote] Dream on, it took 4 years for the Democrats to get out from underneath the damage caused by 8 years of Bush... The inertia has finally been reversed, and the only straws the Republicans can grasp at are "did not perform well enough". Democ

I vote neither... There is no real free will... so a certain "indoctrination" education to society (and expectations of society) is required to 1) Detect people who have a general physiological problem with their brains and 2) prevent the ostracization of individuals This will go a long way towards eliminating these kinds of problems... and that means you have to vote Democrat.
I still play Total Annihilation, TA:K and Star Fleet Command II In the last year I have revisited Dune 2000, Star Craft, Dawn of War: Dark Crusade, Moo1, Moo2, Moo3, Giants: Citizen Kabuto, Star Control 2, Homeworld and Star Fleet Command. I have been having an urge to revisit Sacrifice, Solaris (atari 2600), Star Flight, Sword of Sodan (amiga), Heroes of the Lance (Atari ST), Dark Colony, Sword of Aragon, and Phantasie (PC). All of these games have some parts of greatness tha
I watched the video, and putting aside graphic infancy (I know this is a showcase, do not confuse my argument) My 1st opinion is that they do not know what made TA great (even though they contributed to TA) My 2nd opinion: I see mechanical problems from Spore, Metal Fatigue and Earth 2150 without even putting any effort into it. Is it early and they can fix it? Sure, but they are already on the path.... What path? I already see things that are going to make
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circadian_rhythm and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_deprivation Although there is contention between scientists on this "rule" I find that as long as you make up 1/2 the time of the missed sleep, your body will function properly. eg: If you are normally awake for 16 hours, and sleep 8, and then pull a 24 hours wakefulness cycle (because your boss is Draginol :O)
I was a member of a closed focus group once on a private forum. I was given moderator powers without being told. The problem with being a moderator when you don't know is thus. The "leader/operator" had an opinion in a post that was 1/2 flamewar and 1/2 valid points. The leader posted his opinion, and then locked the thread. I didn't realize the thread was closed, and posted in it.... and yes, because I had moderator powers, the thread was re-opened rather then me receivi
This is a little short sighted. Synch an iPhone 4S and update apps. The minimum iOS supported for some of these apps has been bumped up to iOS 4.3 Uhh... my iPod Touch 2nd gen's final update is iOS 4.2.1. I can no longer use these updated apps? Sooo... How long until an iPhone 3G or lower, and/or an iPod touch 2nd Gen or lower start to lose their once working apps in droves as developers update their iOS versions to the required 5.x for future minimum har

So, what are you exactly arguing, when we agree on all those issues? That you didn't follow the link I originally posted when I stated my position that democrats are now as bad and no different from Republicans in 2012?
With a 200K / year income, they probably are already millionaires. (not saying that have that in cash, but probably in assets) I'd be more interested in knowing what they intend to do with the windfall, because that would be more of a direct answer to your question. At that level of income, they already can have all the amenities they desire, so really if they want to blow it, and continue on doing what they are doing, the only thing the money can buy is better versions of
Typical flame bait response Everything you've argued is also typical Republican anti-democrat rhetoric I see 1) You flat out are a LIAR, because 858 billion worth of Bush tax cut extensions were signed into law by Obama. 2) Appointing a VP from a company that lobbies for deregulation of the FDA, to the FDA (not a right wing economic move?) 3) Expenditures are still higher, despite whatever you say is cut. You're still lying. (mostly to yourself an
I'll give you several examples of moving to the right on economic policy. (I don't mind moves further right on economic policy) 1) Extension to bush tax cuts 2) Appoints Michael Taylor (Monsanto) as advisor to FDA 3) High defense spending and appointment of Jerome Powell (this is a Bush era Military-Industrial complex guy) to the Federal Reserve 4) Free-trade deals with South Korea, Panama and Columbia These
I suppose this is the fundamental problem with most Americans when it comes to politics. Most cannot understand that "leftist commie" Obama has shifted more to the right through his actual actions and is pretty much at the spot the 2008 Republican platform was run on, and is way more right then previous Republican platforms of the past. Or that "leftist" Obama's policies would make him a hardcore conservative right winger in any other country on the planet. The Pol
