Kassadin is pretty much hardcountered by any melee mid. There isn't really much you can do in that situation except farm as best you can and maybe roam to bot or top to gank after clearing creep waves after level 6. I do not think there is a single melee mid that kassadin can beat 1v1 in any similar skill situation.

I will start with the Jarvan game. I was trying out bruiser mid because we already had a strong AP champ imo (jungle Diana) and I felt that we needed another bruiser for our comp to work. Getting ganked almost once a minute along with getting blamed by my team for the majority of the match made me a very unhappy person for game #2. During game number 2 I was Yorick mid versus peter morgana I think? Peter played the game well and only died like one time to a tower dive Karl assisted me

I agree that Kog is a great carry, but the term protect the Kog'maw composition is spot on. If he doesn't have a team built around him he will be torn apart, and even if he is protected by his allies it is quite easy for someone like Gragas to instantly kill the Kog (As seen in the latest big tourney CLG.EU vs M5 where M5 devastated the enemies protect the Kog'maw comp with only Gragas).

I agree that Zyra doesn't have the mobility I was talking about, but she was pretty broken until the hotfix. It just feels like all of the competitive picks are either 1. Highly mobile or 2. Have a massive amount of utility (scouting/cc/buffs/etc.) I think the old case in point for top was Riven (quad dash) or Jax, but I think they habe realized not every brusier needs a gap closer.

I will be honest. I am kind of worried about LoL's balance going forward. Riot seems to want every new champ to have MASSIVE amounts of mobility and I feel like it is leaving the older champions in the dust. Mobility feels like a "requirement" now. When I pick a champion with little mobility I feel like I am shooting myself in the foot. I see little reason to pick an AD carry that isn't Ezreal, Greves, or Corki if I really want to win. Same goes for top lane. Either pick a champion wi

Is this really how far one of my favorite games communities has fallen? I would think that since the community is so small you would do your best to be nice to each other and help out no? I suppose killing the game off with your toxic attitudes is the goal here then?

That is exactly the reason I usually go Graves/Ezreal. I do not trust anyone other than pacov to peel the enemies off of me in soloq so I feel the need to take an AD carry who can survive by themselves with blinks and dashes. Lane dominance is the reason I choose Varus/Ezreal as well. Most people have a very pessimistic view on ranked so if they see the enemy bot lane 5/0 they will be much more likely to surrender. Getting fed early also allows you to take dragon and snowball the game
