Let me know what you think, Pacov! Back on topic, the 'hacker' arc seems like nothing more than an excuse to give whatsisname back at the Warehouse some screen time. Since the hacker really hasn't done anything at all, there is no emotion or curiosity built into the audience regarding it. The only thing that I really like about the show is the concept and the humor associated with the male lead. With the completely disjoint nature of the episodes thus far, the super-

Dynasty Warriors 6 - My favorite part of the Dynasty Warriors fanchise was getting the special unique legendary weapon for each character, but they completely removed that in DW6!! Portal - Too Short!! (great game, played through it at least 5 times) Marvel Ultimate Alliance - heroes compared to each other were way unbalanced. Often would just load all the points into a single skill and spam that. Looking forward to M:UA 2 WoW - very very limited appearance
thx for update. seems like a good list you got there for 1.2
other than a version of Nine Inch Nail's Leaving Hope that I can't find online anywhere, I don't have anything fitting the criteria. So, here's opera metal instead. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=os_y7jtUBZw their later singer is better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTdhXxxWREo a better song to showcase her voice (
Fair enough. I was merely pointing out that both you and Aroddo suggested that both shouldn't be compared, followed by your comparisons. It's no biggie, just found it chuckle worthy.
I didn't read everything, just some quick browsing, but I didn't see either of them say that the games shouldn't be compared, simply that there are significant differences. A lot of what I saw was more a review of the various games rather than conclusions drawn from direct one-to-one
It seems odd that arbitrarily anything can be an 'artifact' if it's old. The guilloteen that killed Maria Antionette? Why? Also, how is it that there are all these things that pop up all over the place, and yet no one seems to know about them? I don't know that a bad guy is necessary in a show, but some kind of rival group that is also hunting the artifacts might make things more interesting. If you like Warehouse 13 even a little, I highly recommend searching
Superman's weakness is NOT his intelligence. He's a alien and has super abiltiies, he's found cures for diseases in one timeline thus concluding he has a super brain as well. His weakness is that he desires to see the good in people and believes everyone should be given a second chance. In my opinion, THAT is his weakness.
Most of the time, if Superman gets in a bind, it's because the bad guy either outsmarts him or he just barrels in with little to no forethought.
zed i said about that too but it is possible but would require alot of work and if they dont do the lot of work and make the map ere would rule the map
Well, the solution I gave is clearly possible, but again needs to be made by the developers. And....I don't understand the rest of what you said here.
No one is saying the movie 2012 is anything but fictional. Just like Harry Potter is fictional, and Dan Brown's books are fictional, and The Golden Compass is fictional, and the Chronicals of Narnia are fiction, and Left Behind is fictional. Is there any reason the Rapture can't be Dec 21, 2012?
I don't like to concede unless my Team is actually asking me too.
That's a good point. If one's teammates want to condede to end the game without actually 'ragequitting', then one should probably concede. But if the winning team doesn't want to actually finish the match they're winning (and are telling the losing team to concede), I won't feel much pity or guilt if my team and I (or myself and two AI) want to stick around.
The fact that the world is supposed to end just because that's how long the calendar of an ancient civilization happens to stretch to sounds very conspiracy-theory to me. Sure, there is always the chance there will be some natural disaster, or we blow everything up ourselves. The odds of the former have never changed throughout the entirety of human existance, and I don't have enough cynicism to believe the latter will occur anytime soon.
Comebacks still happen. If the losing team doesn't want to concede, that's their choice. They shouldn't be pressured into it. No one is making you stay to finish the game.
Appreciate the responses. I'm sure people will understand that it's gotten to the point that I can't respond to everyone (honestly surprised this thread got so many responses [e digicons]o_O[/e] ) RedNeckDude : If you have gotten a computer with Vista after June 23 (think that was the date anyway), Microsoft will send a voucher for a free Windows 7 upgrade when the new OS is released. Because people complain about losing, but no really cares, and there's always those that make fun of the losers or are elitist about winning. Then people complain about people not caring, being made fun of, or elitists. Then people complain about crappy communities. It's a vicious cycle.
so far I'm developing a very very very robust MS InfoPath form (mostly using XSLT instead of using the designer - we've long since moved beyond what InfoPath Designer actually supports). Also uses javascript. Honestly, I don't know what other companies might use. My schooling mostly covered logic, theory, and algorithms, not actual programming languages (the language in any given class varied by the teacher's preference).
You'll likely find that any online gaming community tends to be the same. Granted, my first hand experience is limited (to WoW), but it's the nature of the internets. I appreciate the work Frogboy and Stardock has done on this game. As a software developer just starting his career (first job out of college, started late May), I will definitely look into employment at Stardock in the future. (Though so far I think my current job is great.)

IMO, a premade has two or more of the following criteria: Players are on voice-chat and communicate openly and often throughout the game Players have a discussed and/or practiced team synergy Players are competitive in nature, with concerns about not only winning the current match, but winning more matches than the competitive premade next door Players are elitist and think that any PuG they beat simply has that much less skill
Lantec - The fact that there are ~3.6 million registered users is true. It is false to say that anyone outside of these 3.6 million people is a minority, in light of the fact that again there are far more than 3.6 million people who aren't registered with Stardock. It is also false in saying that I am not part of the 3.6 million registered users. Thanks for playing, come back if you actually have a point to make. Kona - To paraphrase my own statement, "Windows Blinds
Lantec - clearly, I am a registered individual on the Stardock system. Not only is your point invalid, it is false (considering there are considerably more than 3.6 million individuals who do not have a Stardock product), and adds absolutely nothing to any kind of discussion. Philly - I had the IconPackager trial. Uploaded an icon set with it, and I've had that icon set ever since the trial expired. I have not tried a trial on any of the other products - I might look
While I like the customization made available in many Stardock products, they are not things I would pay for. They allow to make your desktop and Windows in general look very cool, yes, but is it worth that kind of money? It's putting money into a purely aesthetic thing that only I will see. It's almost akin to paying $50 extra for the Aero feature on Windows Vista rather than using the 'classic' pre-XP look. I want to use the Stardock customization products, I reall
While not on the subject of Superman vs Batman in particular (but hey, neither was my previous post), there is a great comic series right now called Iredeemable. It is a totally new set of super heroes that seem to be based on Golden Age DC heroes (not on a one-to-one case, but the general theme of it). The story centers around a Supermanish hero. He is alien (but looks human), had a lame reporter alter ego, naseatingly goody goody, and seemingly all powerful. Shor
Scot - I don't see how a multi-level map would work if there are portions of the map occupying the same X, Z, but a different Y. That, and camera angles and clicking on the proper level you want to go on might get annoying. (They can perhaps make it so if your DG goes below a certain 'Y', everything above a different certain 'Y' becomes transparent and unselectable. However, that's something that would have to be implemented outside of the map-making circles.)
lol. This is still the only game I have seen where playing with friends is even an issue. Here is an example of some shaddy behavior, but still, it ultimatly does not guarentee anything. VoIP groups might win more on the average, but I doubt it is anything solid as to be a certain victory.
I don't really mind that people like playing with their friends. It's not uncommon that I knowingly go into a match against a 2-person premade in 3v3 (more uncommon that I will
