SC had one expansion, and, yes I can rage quit, but the community is extremely extremely against rage quitting. Probably because so many premades have to put up with rage quit over and over. So my options are lose very slowly or be branded as a rage quitter.
Don't worry mate. If you are in a noob team with a noob feeder, no one is going to hate you for rage quitting. Frankly, I find it weird that people DONT rage quit and suffer until the end of the game. Even I get bored from s

Istari, thanks for the info. But why does it take so long to fill up games? Why are there so little games open? I am sure this phenomenon interests you as much as it interests us.
Nice solid post. [e digicons][/e]
shameful bump
- If you are complaining that you are losing then this is the issue. Play with friends or people you know who are good players. - People like to play with friends. Do you want to hold it against them? - Regarding bugs, I agree. I wouldn't say that most deaths come from bugs but a decent % of them do. - How long did it take SC to become balanced? Took them several patches + expansions. - There is always a chance for a comeback unless your teammate is a complete
Erebus is very hard to kill because he can run away/mist so in general I would focus fire on the UB unless I know Erebus is low on mana. Another idea is to wait till he goes into mist and throw mines where he will be when he gets out of mist form. This is very LOL.
Old bug, read forums. Don't quit a game while you are dead & in limbo. This should solve the problem (until GPG fix it or hell freezes over, whichever comes first). /whine :P
Even more to the point is that people don't realize just how many combinations there are. I have read complaints of game crashing. Yet, it we've never seen it. We get zero crashes here.
If an "report error" button was implemented instead of contact support with paste of error > receive .cmd file > execute .cmd > send off demigod report.zip off to support again then maybe you will receive more crashes? Where I work, if a customer has a crash and we can't reproduce it t
Invisible_XXI, you demand too much from GPG. You need to PAY for bug fixes, QA and stable software. Your 40$ are only good enough for alpha version software. /sarcasm On a more serious note, I wrote that the developers need to stop putting emphasis on content until the game has ascended out of ALPHA stage but that thread was DELETED BY THE MODERATORS. I will never buy another SD/GPG game again. Frickin' joke. They should sell the Demigod franchise to a serious company. <p
you kids who post "points" and "facts" are useless
You rule man. I wish my epeen was the size of yours.
Who plays 1v1? Besides this troll statement, I will continue to real point of why I posted :P Sedna disadvantages: - Lack of AOE: Getting to priests early or running her over with minions will seriously dent her (think Oak spirits). After 1.1 patch people get Priests a lot sooner than usual. They are now a very strong upgrade. Unless Sedna wants to go Yeti? :) - Survivability reliant on heals: Stunning/silencing/raising cooldowns on a Sedna. This is a very strong tacti

I am sure that when the main servers are down and no one can connect then you can connect... to single player skirmish? Get real. There are obvious issues. Regardless, I am guessing from your post that as long as YOU can connect that means the game is ok, right? right?! YOU > * Edit: And if it wasn't unde
cheaper to get artifact-grade potions? :) Heck, cheaper and you dont lose the affect if you get hit.
megalag - decent. Depends if you play 4v4 with someone on dialup who is not smart enough to understand that he doesnt have enough upstream AI - still sucks Dropped games - happens 20% of the time for me Bad record keeping - still doesn't work properly Connections are kind of ok, though.
Had a game where the host dropped in the middle, probably due to crash to desktop or some kind of split or something. Anyway, these were the results of the game: http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/666727/player/44206/ Everyone recevied a loss and only he received a win.
And to all the people bitching about premades, you've all brought it on yourselves.
Agreed. Regarding the concede button, I don't think that many people know what the word "concede" really means. Regardless, when a full team leaves, the game is over. This is excellent stuff!
For example different people in the game studio works in different areas. Perhaps the programmers looking for bugs are not finnished yet but the "content makers" have nothing to do.
Hi. In the software industry, on the developing side, content makers and bug fixers are the same people. Developers do both (I know, because I do as well where I work). @pacov: Hiya, Im just waiting for the game to stop crashing/disconnecting in mid game. I am not upset but I think that instead of dealing with HoL nerfs, etc - maybe they should start with crashes to desktop? I send in ALOT of bug reports to help the devs and I have yet to see solutions. No patches/fixes or FAQs. Looking at other companies, they know the priority of fixing exploits/crashes/lack of functionality. If something is supposed to work (like, random demigods for example) and
Game released 2 months ago. When will it all work out? :) Is it like Valve time?
Don't give me content. Don't give me balance. Don't give me new features. GIVE ME A GAME WITH NO CONNECTION PROBLEMS. GIVE ME A GAME WITH NO CRASHES TO DESKTOP. GIVE ME A GAME WITHOUT SERVER ISSUES. GIVE ME A GAME WITHOUT GRAPHICS GLITCHES. GIVE ME A WORKING GAME. All rights reserved. KKTHXBYE.

Hello, My friend and I are looking to play with more competent players in premades. If you are frustrated of playing with noobs, feeders and people who basically suck a$$, then please contact me via the forums OR VIA XFIRE (userid: themaxxq) Requirements: - US East/Europe/Russia/Middle East location - WORKING headset/microphone. - Enough upstream bandwidth for playing at least 4v4 with Vo
Dear Frog, Thing is, we're not talking about SD. We're talking about GPG. They are faceless and it frustrates us. They very rarely come to the forums and respond. The whole "we have to persuade them" issue is very problematic. Don't they understand that we want to recommend the game, but can't simply because of the whole lack of support from GPG? In the beginning, I had no doubt that SD would fulfill their end of the bargain. This is why I got my friend into the game. Finally,
Hmm.. IMO most of the players that started playing this game have already left. Around 80% of my friends list (which is useless anyway, but I've checked via pantheon) haven't played the game for 3weeks+, leading me to believe that they have left the game. 80% of my list !!! I find it utterly pathetic that a game that supposedly "sold well" can't have at least 20+ custom games up at any given moment. Is this due to pantheon/skirmishes? I have no idea. But the fact that the players that
Nice guide. One exception: your abuse of the idol exploit. Upcoming 1.1 patch will end this.
