Ke5trel's idea works as well. Getting a bye past the first round isn't really a big deal and 100% prevents a wash.

couuld do a separate finals round for the top 3. i.e.: A vs B A vs C B vs C Win both of your games, and you win overall. If all 3 only won 1 game, that would mean that all 3 lost to a team that was beaten by a team they beat (i.e. A beats B but loses to C. my 2 experiences thus far w/ Jon_Lenin have been terrible as well grimunk. First one he refused to ready up, constantly complaining about teams (he thought our reg / qot / random would have been OP with doubles apparently). Weirdest thing. About 12-13 min in, erabus had died on the mana side, rook wrathed that side, and an ember appears on the ground. Standing near the ember made us take ridiculous damage (like 50-70 dmg a tick as fast as an archer tower). unfortunately, mandala was already a HUGE map with a lot going on. Adding more portals would more than likely make the map completely unplayable for many people due to system requirements (massive lag for the whole group).

anyone truly awesome @ 3v3's should be able to learn most of the tricks of 1v1 in a couple games tho. Many are identical tricks from before, some are new (like speed stacking early to get flags / creeps faster and completely avoiding battle until much later). I know I've personally learned several things from 1v1 that I didn't know from 3v3 and it made me a better 3v3 player (and vice versa). I personally prefer the random combo's we've come up with in our mostly friends games. Reg is a popular choice, tb / da / occ are often seen. If properly supported any demigod can do well, but it's interesting to see some people completely underestimate the power of another demigod (I know I completely underestimated DA until I was swapped back through shield and while my death counter ticked I watched the DA make it out of towers and tele out.. shit's gay).

You kill the creeps / cap mana flag, then go off and cap mid, and make it back to mana flag in time to recap it and kill the next wave. Meh
eh last time I saw it was in a private 4v4 shortly after pacov dc'd. There was no point for a rage quit, it was barely 5 min into the game and everything was completely even. Although it's certainly possible someone did it on purpose after his dc to make the game not count for everyone.
