Ya Shane, a kill or two goes a longgg way with qot / Rook. That definitely made things instantly easier. Although Iunno if it proves anything.. however if we would have been down a kill or two that could have easily been game as well. It's a fine line imo, and not similar to other combos where you can come back from 6 kills down or something. um.. I suppose I played TB in the tourney. However, I played fire ftw tb lol. 1. Circle.. this helps to push ppl out of the middle @ lvl 1 and kills your creeps faster to get you to 2. 2. Never had this happen. My standard build includes pen / shield / dj to 10 and spirits @ 11. I just tested an ai game starting with 1 pt in ward and never had more than 3. Around lvl 17 I got Ward II and never had more than 5 spirits. In between, I got more minions to see if that would make a difference (gunners / minotaurs), it did not.
