Awesome, thanks.

Proxies are currently increasing ping by about 700. This needs attention ASAP.
Signed. This bug just surfaced recently and is ridiculous. Anyone who's proxied will have about 700 ping to at least one person on my 5 man team. 5v5's are literally impossible right now. Even 3v3's are difficult to get going. In its current state the game is all but unplayable. This bug needs to be fixed.
I like the idea of a shapeshifter. I gotta say though, Lightning and Chainlightning look...very overpowered. Lightning is like a faster Fireball that also has a stun attached. It's a little ridiculous. By "stun" do you really mean "interrupt"? Because that would be more reasonable. I noticed it also has a pretty high mana cost for a single-target attack, so on second thought I guess this skill is okay. Chainlightning's a lot worse. 1000 damage (that's more than any AoE
I love how everyone keeps saying QoT is good if you use TEAMWORK. Guys. EVERY demigod is better if you work well with your team. That's how the game works. The difference is that every other demigod is good ANYWAY, not just if they are constantly surrounded by teammates. Yes, QoT's shield and ground spikes are helpful when used in tandem with teammates. But QoT's weaknesses weigh out her strengths so badly. She can't support her team as well as Sedna. Her AoE isn't as
DemigodDB is useful! It's also slightly broken. The calculator doesn't work right. Also, it needs to update. Still totally great though! So I would say Yes.
offensive build you can take max ground spikes, spike wave + bramble shield, then lvl 11 put 1 point in shambler and lvl 12 13 15 points in mulch. mulch + bishops + bramble shield = invunerable offensive QoT you can even leave shamblers at base cos range of mulch is infinite
Yeah you could do that...or just play as Sedna and have even better survivability via Healing Wind + High Priests, Inner Grace,
This build is...wow. Is...is this even legal? I mean, WOW. You, sir, have just broken the game.
These types of fanboy showdowns always amuse me. In the red corner, Cosmoe, who spends every waking moment raising the alarm about the underusage and underpowered-ness of his pet DG! In the blue corner, Celmare, who bristles at the very notion that QoT is relatively weak! My $.02: QoT is relatively weak, but not because of Bramble Shield. She's squishy, slow, her spells cost too much mana, and to top it all off her AA stinks
Looks pretty hot. Community maps just can't come soon enough.
1.2 in August? Really? Hot shit.
Just wanted to pop in and say that if one thing can be concluded from this thread, it is that Queen of Thorns is absolutely, positively, and without a doubt underpowered. The majority of her skills are underwhelming if not completely useless, and the few skills that ARE good are limited by her slow form-changing and the high-risk nature of ever being in Open form at all. Please please please PLEASE GPG, read the section on QoT. She doesn't have to be buffed using our ideas sp
Thanks for the update, froggy. I would pay $9 for two new demigods, as long as the first two are free and are released some time in the near-ish future, as was promised.
Voted. Also, guys, who cares what exact genre Demigod is. If you like the game, vote it! Hopefully it'll win and we'll see a growth spurt in the number of players. If this community stagnates, we'll soon see complete abandonment from GPG.
Thanks for the comments. @Schobbo: I hope you read the sentence immediately after that. Since it only takes a very small amount of damage to break, I can't see the immobilization effect being overpowered. Also, I added some counters to the effect in the OP.
Just one of the problems plaquing Queen of Thorns is that Uproot is relatively useless. This is my idea for a redesign of the skill. Rank 1 (available at level 1) : 500 Mana 15 yd. range 1 sec cast 15 sec. cooldown Description: Uproot is a targetted AoE, with an area of effect a bit smaller than TB's Circle of Fire. Lasts 3 seconds (at rank 1), and deals 150 damage per second to all stru
See the thing about towers is that they are not, by themselves , supposed to be a significant threat to demigods, at least not beyond very early game. With a few levels and some armor, a few demigods working together can take down a tower and come out relatively unscathed. That is, however, if they're completely uncontested by enemy demigods in doing so. Attempt to take on enemy demigods in the midst of their towers and you can bet your sorry ass is gonna get killed, even late
