Two questions: 1. How is this a Project? 2. Why are you telling us?
Esuzu
They work pretty well, except for the AI that somehow joins now and then...
1. What was the design behind AI joining online games in skirmish and pantheon? If Demigod aims to be a competetive game this wouldn't be a very good idea right?
A sad day for Demigod's modding community in that case.
Quoting Esuzu, reply 38About the slow support. Acctually things like this, takes time. It is not just something Stardocks says to protect the game. After you have made a fix you need to test the fix etc etc. IMO they have been rather quick. However it is still in my opinion that they should have fixed most of the problems before they released the game. That is where the problem lies I think. They should have had released a game that is as s

So of course I'm not entitled to an opinion, like the opinion that GPG ran this game into the ground with their bad and slow support.
And why are you still here then? About the slow support. Great Frogboy :) This is really apprieciated. Good suggestion by pacov as well :)
Fooling people isn't a good way of getting people to play with ya you know...
What ZehDon says is true. Just look at WoW, no matter how many balace fixes etc Blizzard does the community still thinks something is wrong or unbalanced. Or more should be added etc. We can't help it really, we are after all just humans. Well, most of us.
Agreeing with DwarfKilla_DN here. For me Demi is pretty stable... Haven't played HoN so can't compare really. If you have problems report a bug or try to get some support. The reason why there are 100 times for players in HoN is probably because IT IS FREE ;) I think there are quite many players who have bought demi and will begin to play again after the new patch when some issues have been fixed. At least I hope so. :)
Maybe artifact consumable would work... But maybe more expensive than 4k I think. However it should only be possible to put it out on the designated tower spots. If you could place it out on different places it would make Rooks towers... less original. Still, I think it works better that you have to sacrifice yourselves to defend your towers (or just fight to defend them). They become more important that way.
Looks good, a bit silly ability names though... I mean... Ball Lightning isn't that cool.
Actually in my opinion I phrased it pretty unprickish, but it's all in the eye of the beholder I guess. Don't know about how other people view this forum but the announcement was the first thing I saw when I logged on and I always read them first, exactly for this reason.
First time I saw aswell. And KingBingo, twifightDG wasn't very "prickish".
What I can see all AI behaves as idiots... Even on Nightmare settings. The same with minions etc, especially priests.
I like the steel skin. You could have the ability and just remove the stats maybe and it would be balanced I think.
Is SD/GPG willing to "officalize" and distribute community made maps, mods, items, demigods, and the like if they gain popularity?
I am very interested about knowing this aswell.
In real life, most of the time courtesy don't work, in the internet, even less.
I am not sure in which world or country you live in but where I live courtesy helps you out a lot. And even if it doesn't help; will we go so far as Dwarf and just being rude just because we want something done? Internet is a big problem when it comes to being nice, you can be anonymous quite easily if you want. And people tend to believe
You can be upset and still post your complaints in a constructive and courteous manner.
Exactly. All complaints should be courteous, atleast somewhat. When I have to complain about something I always try to be a bit nice... You always get better help and reception then.
Nah, not sure about that. A part of demigod is to protect your towers and make sure they aren't destroyed.
Thanks for telling us. We do care you know. No really, we do.
I suggest to post your questions in a list like ZehDon does. Will be much easier for pacov to read then :)
Lemme reiterate that I'm not suggesting minions be glued to your hip, I think 40-50 yards is plenty.
I have to agree with ZehDon, it is not in any way unbalanced that the minions can be moved over the map away from the general. First, the general is weaker without his minions and thus easier to kill and second they are rather easy to get rid of if they are without their general. They might harm you quite a lot though but not enou
After the vile that got thrown at Frogboy, I think this community has burnt it's bridges.
Well, you can't condemn everyone for something some people have done. Well, you can but I hope Stardock etc does not. Those who don't appreciate the support Frogboy etc gets us shouldn't be in that chat session.
Yes, I like that they have the same units aswell. The above posters have a great point.
Great post, should be in the game!
