You may want to try verifying the integrity of the game files. If its on Steam, right click, Properties/Local Files. It helps, sometimes.
Thanks, but I've done that multiple times.

Found another problem with 3.0:
The Curgen's Tomb wasteland quest is not completing either. I've killed all of the monsters in it, which is exactly what the quest tells me to do, but the quest is still active and the wasteland cannot be built on. This quest worked correctly in the game that I had started before installing 3.0, but not on this game that I started on 3.0, so 3.0 may have broken it. The saved game that I've encountered all of these bugs on <a href="https://www.dropbox.com/s/mzarok1do7ffxcw/Shiray
A bypass to try here: assign your interrupt spell to a hotkey and select the spell using the number key rather than clicking on it. That usually clears the issue for me (and I see it frequently).
Thanks, I'll have to remember to give that a try.
Haven't found any techs yet to reduce pollution (although IIRC the name of at least one implies it should do it) but I have found anomalies that gave me an artifact to reduce pollution by 20% on a planet. I'm not sure it matters much on a colony, though, as opposed to a core world.
Yes, 3.0 has officially dropped.
Thanks. although I was hoping someone would look into the crashes I'm seeing.
Is 3.0 officially released? Has anyone looked at my bug reports?
The magic tech that you can research for Henchmen lists available henchmen types as Bard, Shieldman, Torch Bearer, and Candle Bearer. In my current game, playing as Shirayn, I can train the first 3 types but not the Candle Bearer.
Again, on the 3.0 beta, Vetrar wandered out of his wasteland and I defeated him inside my territory. The quest to defeat him did not complete, and I am now not able to build anything inside his wasteland.
Twice now I've had battles against haunter's armies, where on turn one the haunter has prepared to cast a spell, and then none of my units can cast spells against him because they get a "Cannot hit friendly targets with this ability" message.
Still crashing today. Messages in debug.err are different though, so maybe there's no clues there. Is there any automated crash reporting? Debug Message: ------------------------- Debug Message: - Ending Turn 227 - Debug Message: Current Memory Usage: 1654324 KB Debug Message: Cities in World: 42 Debug Message: Units in World: 2136 Debug Message: Warning, tile design K_Bazar_02 now has 146 objects when it used to have 100<br
Ctrl-S also works for a quicksave.
The new game I started on beta 3.0 is getting non-repeatable CTD, always when I hit the turn button. The last few lines of the latest crash's degug.err are as follows: Debug Message: - Ending Turn 174 - Debug Message: Current Memory Usage: 1466744 KB Debug Message: Cities in World: 28 Debug Message: Units in World: 1895 Debug Message: Warning, tile design K_Conclave_02 now has 107 objects when it used to have 100 DebugMessage:&nbs
I have a class 18 desert planet with 3 housing districts, all at level 3. The housing districts should add a total of +12 to the population capacity, yet the population cap at the upper right shows 10/10. The tooltip for the populations says that the population is being capped by the housing supply, and to construct cities to increase the cap. So (a) shouldn't the cap be higher than 10 since I should have whatever the base planet population was +12? And (b) shouldn't the tooltip say build hou
Did a new battle map get added to the 3.0 update as well?
I saw that map for the first time on 3.0 as well, but I can't say whether it's from 3.0 because I also installed the Battlegrounds, Dead World, and Leader DLCs before starting that game.
Despite the tooltip indicating that this event would give me two culture points, I got only one. I suspect the tooltip is wrong. Edit: In case it's not clear, this is the conclusion to the mission to colonize three oceanic worlds. I got it playing as the Festron.
Finished the game I had started before the update, managed to grab that one last Steam achievement I was missing. Now I'm starting a new game to see all the new quests.
There have been some reports of combat suddenly not working. Not just shipyards though. If you can save, restart, and then reload the game it might start working again according to the reports I've seen.
I see your citizens are all really unhappy. Are they in revolt? I'm not sure that would cause what you're seeing, but you might check it out.
I could be wrong, but I do think that is how it has always worked.
Thanks, that could well be, it's been years and years since I played.

Ah yes, Pumpkin Spice, born this day to a greengrocer in Shropshire. Striaght out of school she joined Sporty, Scary, Baby, Ginger, and Posh to form the iconic group The Spice Girls! Happy Birthday, Pumpkin!
We have not pushed this build to live
Typo? not->now? Edit: Oh, you fixed it just as my comment showed up!
The space bar is not acting as "Pass" like it's supposed to. If there are more fixes going in, perhaps someone could take a look? Thanks. Edit: Please ignore this. I was seeing that the space bar did not reduce the unit's movement to 0, but had not noticed that the turn button does turn green. So it does work, just not like I thought.
I purchased the 3 DLC that I didn't already have and started a new game. Besides my own ineptitude (mostly from not playing the game for years) the only oddity I've noticed is that I was supposed to receive a new hero at 50 fame, and I didn't. I'm at 55 fame now and the tooltip says I'll get my next one at 100 fame. I currently have my sovereign and 2 heroes. I have trained a couple of henchmen, do they count against the count of heroes? Is that a bug? Thanks.
