When I reformat, I backup each program in its own folder, and, separately, each theme/skin in it's own folder, to DVD(orCD) and reinstall all the programs after I get back to running again. Even "Paint" works... Right-click image, Copy, Then open copy in Paint or program of your choice, Save As whatever you want to name it, Change size to 50 X 50, Save As .jpg(important!), Close program, ..and you'll have the renamed copy as a .jpg to use! NoXion28, Have had this problem for years now and have still not ever found a fix until now. Thank you so very much. It only occurs intermittently, and I usually hide then show my desktop icons to get rid of it. Will try this fix on next occurrence of it. Finally! A solution!
