Maybe it's partly a question of habits. I come to the site, see a piece that catches my eye, investigate further, and if I like it enough to leave a comment, do so. Sometimes, but not always, if I like it and can use it, a subjective but hopefully constructive criticism. I always have wondered just what goes on when I click the DL link and the Rate This link. I assume the DLs are recorded and cause events to happen, and that the Rate This link doesn't do much as the piece has already b

I don't know whether to be excited and looking forward to trying it, or apprehensive about totally zonking my system irrevocably and losing my favorites,etc, and relative ease of operation that I've become accustomed to with IE6. Vista sounds like it's going to be expensive, very restrictive, and a step backward as far as abilities to do just plain browsing and usual PC functions. Maybe not. My take on it at this point. How in the world is anyone supposed to limit their pick of Usable WB and Original WB to just three(3) each category. I'm scribbling down titles under each category and adding/changing/scratching out/re-entering...Holy ____!! What a feast! Not me, for sure, but when I return to a comment box I've previously posted in, my former comment now has that username as the author. However, at the moment my system runs just fine and IE 6 does everything it's supposed to and does so satisfactorily. Set mine (OD+) to "Normal Z-Ordering", Checked box "Mouse Activation", works now. If a window covers it up, I bump the screen-edge and there's the dock. Works whether I'm using "Autohide" or not. I set bottom to no autohide and full transparency so just the icons show all the time. Side docks set to autohide. Note: sometimes side docks don't appear when I've got a maximized window up...sometimes they do, but when I had Z-Order set to Always on Top, they wouldn't appear when the edge was bumped..
