Also, favicon doesn't (usually) work on free-sites. If you have your own non-freebie website and you just want to see how it works on IE then you can use any icon you have on your computer rename it to favicon.ico and upload it to your main index directory (not a folder), then to test it out just save one of your webpages and it should show up. There are also some good freebie icon editors out there. <

Is there a cap for level 4 users???
-But, don't take my word for it...wait until one of the "big bosses" give an opinion here.
Hmmm. That's kinda touchy...I'm not sure but I imagine as long as you gave the author credit and a link to his/her wallpaper to download then it would be okay? I know I wouldn't be all "up in arms" if someone did that I'd be flattered. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powe
An easy cure-all to many log-in problems and download issues is to purchase the subscription to the skinbrowser.
Oh boy! Just got Metroid Prime in the mail from Amazon.com! Time to playyyyyyyyy!
I'll keep that in mind. If I put something crappy up I'm sure I'll hear about it soon enough With skinning, it seems to me (just by observation) that it's hard to try and do something "super original" and yet functional and clean...sooooo, guess I'm going to be studying for a long time before I brav
-AND furder-more( ) Uh, I solemnly swear not to upload anything that I personally think sucks! I was just trying to be humbly self-effacing.
Oh don't get me wrong! I'd work very hard and truthfully, I'd want to think it looked and behaved well first before uploading but sometimes what "I may think" and what everyone else "thinks or likes" are two different stories. I'd try my best but beginners are notorious for making newbie mistakes and I'm no different. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/joke.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmi
I've been (and will keep) sending white healing light your way

I'm studying up on skinning...widgets and goblins and warlocks oh my! <BR
Great topic! Well, many good mentions here so I'll just tack on some of my favs that haven't been listed above since there are plenty of good lady crooners too : In no particular order since all of the artists below are all so gifted and talented in their own way that to place them in a “best to wor
Well, that sold me, I've got to get cracking and learn to make WB skins! Oh boy, something new to tackle! *gulp* Do you hear that giant sucking sound? That's the sound of my future, because that's how bad my first skin submissions are gonna suck if they even get accepted. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" bo

I loved Jim C ever since he was on "In living color"
That's Jim Carrey speak for "Loser" ) (Must watch Ace Ventura when nature calls to get that)
That's great Auggie, sounds like you're doing better, much better than me! I kick myself that I don't read as voraciously as I used to. Ever since my very first computer (about 4 years ago) I've been a total tech-head which can be good and bad. Sometimes I realize that the hardest off switch is my own internal one (computer-wise and even emotional wise at times). I guess I sort of miss the days w
My little sister got implants and she's gone through hell all so she could please some guy who likes two "fun bags."
Jim, as I'm a 36 year old female and you're a 49 year old male, you must know what I'm talking about. Fake boobs are GROSS!
And here's my personal message to any male who prefers fake boobs... In the words of the great Jim Carrey... "LAY-HOO-Zay-HER" sound it out.
