I met Gilden and the sov is incredibly strong and the kingdom is extremely powerful. See screens. Here's an autosave if you want to have a look: <a href="http://www.shell.linux.se/dsk2293/elemental/fe/gilden

Just a small observation on the tactical screen. The initiative list to the left. It seems to be a bit hard to tell the different units apart. Maybe you could have the units light up when you hover the mouse over the icons?

AoW2 didn't have them and the game felt more like a "game" and less of a "world" because of that. Aow, AOW 2 and shadow magic had descriptions as I remember. Oh, well there was something in AoW that wasn't in AoW2. If it wasn't unit descriptions, then I don't know what it was. [/quot

You should keep calling it E:FE. If the game is great the word will get out anyway. It's not like Fantasy TBS fans have tons of other new games to choose from. Be honest. Just call it the second game in the series, a total rework of the failed first game. There was a good game hidden in E:WoM, and by hiring some of the best talents around you were able to make it the game you wanted WoM to be. MoM has nothing to do with it. Don't mention it.

I agree as well. I really don't see why champions alone should be able to defeat entire armies. But if you have a bunch of them together they should be powerful... Maybe just make them more common and reduce their stats a bit? Hopefully we will be able to mod this.

In a game like FE you can have many different stats because they will not be the deciding factor if you win or lose. However, RPG's generally tend to be better with fewer stats (Skyrim is one example). RPG's always have an optimum skill progression that you are almost forced to follow, or you will not be able to complete the game. In FE there will hopefully be several strategic choices to make, and not just "put all skill points into magic and win". I think having lots of stat

Adding different heights to units is not complicated at all, it's just about abilities and immunities. Flying units just need the "Flying" ability, which gives them immunity from strikes from units with the "Walking" ability. That's how it works in AoW. There's no need for different heights on the map for this to work.
AoW has a hell of a lot more to its battles than Elemental does, first of all. The maps are not flat - there are walls and buildings. There are lots
You know what I like best about that video? Mountains to plains without mandatory hills tiles between them. That really made the mountains look very unimpressive in WoM. The rest is pretty good, too.
Really? I would like more hills. Now its either completely flat or a huge mountain, which looks very unnatural. Also the tiles with dead trees look terrible and feel like WoM leftovers... The new l
