None of them are great for gaming. The first two have decent processors but lack a video card, which is really needed if you want to be sure you will be able to play the game on that specific laptop. THe last option has a decent video card but it has only a 1Ghz dual core processor, which is simply not enough for gaming. Looks like you need to look a little further, bud.

Try verifying the integrity of the game cache. Go to Steam -> Library -> Right click on your game -> Properties -> Local files -> Verify integrity of game cache. Sometimes that works, when a file is corrupted or missing. Also, it is important not to have any mods enabled when going online in Sins. Disable any active mods from the ingame menu. Let me know if that helped. I really don't know what else to try unfortunately, except for reinstalling the g

You are referring to the unknown enemy that has been chasing the Vasari for thousands of years. Don't expect them to be revealed until Sins 2. If that ever even happens... In other words, we don't know what this enemy is yet.

Hope its the next DLC pack. But I hope it features more than a few new techs and some new planet meshes... Really hoping for new ship types or something in that direction, but not getting my hopes up. Damn that's a lot of hopes.

Did you try opting-in for the beta version of the game? I heard some rumors about having the beta opt-in disabled causing crashes and other problems when playing online. Try opting in for the beta. Or try opting out, will never hurt to give it a try. Good luck!

It does seem rather odd that you are able to run the game for some time though, before it crashes. Wouldn't really know what could help you fix the problem other than upgrading the OS, given the fact that all your drivers are up to date. Also, I was just trying to point you in the right direction. I know I sometimes seem like a bit of a douche, but that's just because you don't know me... yet. [e digicons][/e] EDIT: Also, when Ryat says I'm probably right, you&#

Given the fact that SOASE only utilizes two cores, you basically don't need more than a dual core pc with a decent video card (of course equipped with the latest driver updates). The thing is, you want each core to have as much processing power as possible for the best experience. For instance, a dual core pc @3.0Ghz would result in a better experience than a quad core pc @2.8Ghz... Hope that helps a little bit.

Prolly some sort of minidump. I remember something like this happening to me a few versions back. Haven't seen it since the release of the DLC though...
A DLC will just never be able to add a 4th race. I'm not sure a 4th race will ever fit into the Sins lore, but either way it will require a new Sins Engine which I hope Ironclad will embrace soon.
I know mate. Just throwing a wild desire out there. I would be happy with any DLC because I am still a huge fan of this game, and I just read Yarlen's reply on another thread in which he stated that another DLC idea is already being fin
