Zodiaq~
Sounds like Brad has had it with this subject.
Sorry about your issues Willabong...All the posts have pretty much everything covered. You could send an email to T-Man [email protected] Maybe he can see what's going on.
#56 by IPlural - 7/20/2003 2:54:11 PM oh my wife looked at the subject of the thread she said just tip your head back a little and swallow hard, no problem I think she is trying to get my attention? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/lol.g
I went through this myself a little while back. I got all pissed off reacted rather hastily and deleted my skins library...After a couple days passed, I calmed down, realized the error of my ways and fortunately was able to have my library restored. It was quite a strange feeling those 2 days...I honestly felt something was missing...a kind of homesick feeling...It was because I was no longer a part of the Wincustomize family:) Politics? There will always be politics...
Forgot to mention...make sure the Preview image has a different file name than the Screenshot image...That's probably the issue
Yeah...It is .jpg only...mmm...Could have something to do with a character in the file name
#14 by yrag - 7/19/2003 8:29:40 AM If you're using a different WebBlinds skin most, if not all, will not skin the background or the folder icons. Gary if you know a way around that let me know, cause I've just learned to live with it.. My bad yrag...I thought you were speaking of Windowblinds <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...It's difficult to please everyone. To just give a poor or high rating because of reasons other than the performance or aesthetics of the skin itself..well that's not cool...unfortuanately there are a few out there that would do that. On the other hand, If 10 people rate a skin 10 then someone thinks the skin is just average and gives it a 5, I don't see a problem with that. As far as ratings go...There are really very few that
I would think the reasoning would be. A person downloads the skin, test drives it for awhile, then finds a few bugs or little things they may not like, Then go back and rate it At least that's what I do. You have to run the blind for a considerable amount of time before you can justly rate it
The favorites menu will skin in IE, although there are a few limitations still. There is a colored box around the folders and also you can't change the Mouse Over text color (as far as I know), other than that it seems fine to me
Openly admits to it
#2 by IPlural - 7/18/2003 5:47:13 PM Zodiaq, you'd probably like Garlic Lemon sauce dipped, Honey battered Snook or Grouper fingers also I love all those ingredients...Grouper sounds awesome!!! I haven't heard of Snook Man...Your first po
Dude...That sounds perfect! Be over to my house Sunday around 6:00 p.m. To start the preparation I can't wait
For me personally... WindowBlinds Icon Packager CursorXP WMP or Winamp or MMjukebox Wallpaper Sysmetrix Rainlendar
That sounds like a good plan grayhaze...One needs to test drive a car before buying. I'm sure you have had many requests saying how cool MetalX2 would be in Blue or Red or Purple etc. Offering the additional colors and options for purchase would be enticing to many users no doubt
#73 by Tech Cat - 7/18/2003 12:18:19 AM As a fan of vintage gaming, it is a big advantage to me. I have a growing collection of gaming systems and game paks that span my lifetime. I like to go back and play games I grew up with. I like to play both new and old games much like a person who enjoys both new and old movies. Ok...That I can relate
now it does have other uses besides destroying CDs, can also be used to crack down on OS war fanatics <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/lol.gif" border=
That's not much of an advantage seeing how it will be obsolete technology within a couple years anyway
Is this the kona0197 vs. Tech Cat thread?...Oh goody Looks like kona0197 and The DJ have you on the run Tech...mmmm...sucks being wrong huh <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/lol.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddl
I think what MikeB314 said in post #42 over in the Pay Packs thread makes the most sense... grayhaze there is no doubt your skins are A+ and worth a price. I can't imagine the time involved with all those subskins and extra features...not to mention the documentation...Which I must say is extremely well done:) Although most users won't read a single word...who want's to read all that just to run a blind? Most just want to click apply and see it in all it's glory;) Just put
Matt...Seems you have about the same setup as myself I just don't have the luxury of that 9700 Pro...Damn 8500DV...It's not too bad though As far as I know the Stardock apps don't tweak any Video settings
texasmike...If you are not a subscriber or have not purchased Stardock software, I believe you have a 50mb download limit. If you click your username you can see how much you have downloaded
Lol...See...It was definitely me misunderstanding Sorry about that The DJ.. Time to go take a nap
