Happy Birthday Tom.
Are you still using Foobar? You can configure its library to pull/sort by title, if that's all you're wanting to do. At least I think I had to build it, it was a while ago.
I do still use foobar and I am aware that you can configure the library to fetch in various ways. I was not trying to do that as I am happy with the default script, I was just experimenting with the info that you gave to starbucksphreaq, so
[e digicons][/e] That's a really handy little trick to know. You can also use the /s and /b switches (dir /s /b >Filename.txt) to get the lists of files within subdirectories - which you certainly do not want to do here. That's great for music listings for example, if you have an annoying tendency to remember song titles but forget who did them. It's a different output layout but you can still
This guy had the same error and he fixed it with a bios and driver update, not sure if that will work for you but you can check this out. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1627817/bsod-bccode-124.html
I had something similar a couple weeks ago. My problem was the sound card and the driver. I installed the card in a different slot and updated the driver and my issue went away. Have you checked device manager to see if there are any errors? Are your drivers up to date, especially your video drivers? Are you using a SSD?
Quoting JuniorCrooks, reply 4 I am becoming senile and scratching my head here trying to think of what SD stands for. Something Different, Super Duper, South Dakota? OH, maybe Deskscapes StarDock .... <img src="//images.stardock.
I loved playing with Win 7 and when SD happened I was like a little kid let loose in a toy store. It was easy to use, I never got lost and there was no need for all the bells and whistles they put into 8 (a freakin' disaster) tried to fix it in 8.1 which wasn't all that bad once WB was installed because flat is just flat, no substance. Then along comes 10 and its still flat! Not too mention buttfugly. Thank goodness I got SD to cure that. All tho
No not really. What I do think however is when you find a text you can't see but know how to change it. first and yes it's not your job. But I would let the person that made it know about it. I know I would want to know. If you are brushed off nothing you can do. I think the few people actually making WB's are open people. In fact I think it would be a good idea to point out to everyone when a very hard location to
Quoting JuniorCrooks, reply 13 but because I am stubborn and if something bugs me I will spend hours trying to figure something out. I prefer the phrase "selectively persistent" [e digicons];)[/e]
That works.
Dave, if you were implying that I was bitching (not saying you were) than I guess I can admit that I was bitching a little. I also understand that there can be difficulties in making a blind 100% usable, I am not even talking about perfect. I think the big issue is with the color of the skins themselves. If someone makes a skin with a unique color (usually a dark color) then they have to start making all sorts of images and colors to match the skin and that is when things can go wr
So, just a few lines of code - officially we call that a quick fix and no real amount of cost for the dev team - so, SD, how about it?
There is a cost involved, API License keys are not free, although there may be alternatives other than purchasing a license from one of the big weather providers.
Quoting JuniorCrooks, reply 4 Skins are suppose to be tested right? Ken in your reference about "Skins are suppose to be tested right?" well, we are only human, and so are those that test our skins, mistakes happen, we are not perfect. Now, if
JC. As far as the startmenu search text color. Actually it can be changed on win 10. However on 7 it can't. So on 10 you can use an image that matches the SM. However on 7 a skinner has to make a choice to match a darker skin with a darker image or use a light one that doesn't match well. You know which way that goes. I made a thread on 6/22/18 and mentioned this and asked if it can be looked into for win 7. All I received on the entire thread
This has been a pet peeve of mine for a long time. I download a Windowblind, (sometimes ones that I have paid for) and there will be font color conflicts. I don't know how many blinds I have loaded where there will be a dark font on a dark background or the opposite with light colors on light backgrounds. People should not have to go into Skinstudio and mess with the color settings to get things right. Skins are suppose to be tested right? Sometimes colors will be fine on one opera
OK, I got it, thanks.
I feel dumb asking this but how does one go about just launching the dock when you have Winstep Extreme? There are times when I do not want Nextstart or the WorkShelf active, sometimes I only want to use the dock.
A shame we can't subscribe to the service ourselves...this was a very useful feature. So what's the actual problem? Is it money with it being to costly. Or just plain lack of interest in fixing a few lines of code?
Not even a few lines of code, it is a simple API key change if they go with the same weather provider. It seems like Stardock has lost interest in Objectdock so I doubt there will b
Well, I really hate to say this, but it seems Stardock is putting way more effort into game development than into keeping OS customization current. I am becoming very, very disappointed. [e digicons]:([/e]
I cannot blame them, there is more money in games, not to mention a far larger fan base for games Have you ever thought about who is into customization? correct me if I am wrong bu
Junior Crooks, reply #39 and 43 say just that. However, perhaps you are right and I take the various carping and advocation of other Docks systems to indicate cessation of usage where there is none. No they don't, reply 39 was in response to Sean asking about the fix he provided a link too. veduswoolley simply said he was tired of Objectdock not working so he changed to a different dock, thus was unable to try h
"Guys, if you stopped using ObjectDock, then more power to you, but to come on the forum, complain about the Dock, then say it doesn't matter 'coz I've switched, well, that is kindofa cop-out. Either you are here asking for a solution from Stardock or you are not - saying "yeah, I liked it a while back, but I don't use now, so please fix it, but I am still using something else" sort of sends mixed messages, doesn't it?" wilorg, I challege you to show the post where anyone said what yo

FlyakitOSX did a good job back in XP days. I still have the software and had it running on xp not long ago but I had minor problems running xp now that it is no longer supported. https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows/make-your-xp-computer-look-like-os-x/
