Reply to Issues with some blinds. in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I finally got it working but I had to take some drastic measures, namely a complete OS restore using my AMOEI Onekey Recovery backup. The purge did nothing and I found out that purging left a lot of registry entries which I manually deleted but it still did not resolve the issue. I even uninstalled Start 10 thinking maybe that was the problem. I did sfc/scannow and that did not fix it either. I am left not knowing what the problem was, must have been some system setting change th

[/quote] I am not sure what setting that would be, the only thing I change in Start 10 is I enable "show icons split into" 2 columns but even with that unchecked and the Start menu in normal mode I still do not have the ribbon.

Issues with some blinds. in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Seeing how some skinners are not very active here anymore I thought that I would start a thread were you can ask questions concerning problems or bugs with certain skins. I will begin by asking if anyone knows why the top part of a windowblind would display properly in Windows 7 but not Windows 10? For example, I just installed Office and the ribbon on the start menu is not displaying in Windows 10 but it works fine in Windows 7. See screenshot. <img src="https://cdn.stardo

Does anyone want an extra project? It is about 60% finished but I have taken it as far as I can, for some reason I am struggling with this one more than my first blind. I get frustrated with it when I change one thing and it effects a different area, I guess I just don't have the patience any longer. Well, I am really disappointed with some of the comments, some of you have a victim mentality and are very defensive over something that is not even being suggested let alone said. Several times now it has been stated that master skinners should sell their skins, I for one don't expect everything for free and I disagree with you Jim about the ratio but it does not matter, at this point I am so fed up that I think they should just do away with the master title and give everyone the same privil

I think some are still missing the point, no one is attacking any individual skinner and no one is saying that a master cannot sell skins, in fact quite the opposite has been made clear, that still does not take away from the issue that there are more Master skins being uploaded or updated than there are free ones but I know someone is going to tell me that there are still plenty of good free skins which there are, just not many new ones. I am trying to be tactful because sometime
