Nah, this topic was up before. The mixes I make don't even have the full songs because they're blended. It's not like I'm distributing them massively either. Most are backups for me. Every single DJ (if not 99%) does it and that's to be expected.

Yes, Corona would be it. Thanks alot. I really appreciate your help fellas. One more question - if I was to format again could I copy all my skins to a cd and then paste them in my Windowblinds folder? Like they would show up under my display properties if I did that right?

Hey whats goin on... I had this skin and from the last time I formatted I never got it again. It was made after WMP 9 and it's not the XP Prime skin from the great nikos but the other one. My searches came up with nothing. I appreciate your help.

I don't list to the radio because it's the same mainstream shit played over and over every 30 minutes which is pretty much what Joe was sayin. Most of the mainstream rap is ridiculous today and I would prefer Underground anyday. What's worse is my little cousin was watchin Nickelodeon and they had some little kid doin an Eminem song and acting out the video. Eminem is a great lyricist and anybody who says different really should listen to his freestyles, unrelea

Ok, from what I know now, you can write as fast as the other drive can extract the audio when copying an audio cd. With a data copy, you can copy as fast as the other can read. I can copy an audio cd at 16X (give or take some) and that's fine. Styl skinner, I record a lot of stuff on the 1s and 2s and like to make backups. I also give copies to other DJs and people who want them. If you really get into it, some labels are for DJs making tapes/

Shmoopy, my brother has an AMD Athlon 2200 and experiences no problems. He does use Nero now (no problems with Roxio before). I've never had a coaster with Roxio either. Might try Nero though. Vizo, yeah I mentioned that above. That slows down your drive though if it's on the master. My brother has his on the same (99% sure) like me and all is fine. Will make sure. You think it could possibly be because I'm on a 750 AMD? I mean now I can burn up to 16X

I appreciate your help. I replaced the Yamaha with a LG 32X10X40X drive. I first tried copying at 24X and again the buffer level dropped to 1%. After, I tried 16X and for the most part it stayed at 100%. Like I said, I was under the impression that you could burn as fast as the other drive could read. Guess that's not the case...16X is fine though.

Well yeah werewolf, if I do it the other way around it works (burning to the Yamaha at 8X). But why would that work and not the other way around? I was under the impression if the Yamaha can read at 24X, then burning to the new drive I should be able to burn up to 24X. And that goes with your response jebland. Is that not the way it works? I mean, when reading from the Yamaha and burning to the BUSlink, although the buffer level is for the most part at 1%, the cd

I know this isn't Stardock related but I figured someone could help... I'm using Easy CD Creator 5.3.4.21 and I just got a BUSlink 52X drive yesterday. My other one is a Yamaha 8X. When I go to copy a cd and it reads from the Yamaha and burns to the new one, after like 30 seconds the buffer level drops to 1%. If the cd is 12 tracks, the buffer level will go back to 100% on like the 11th track. But if it reads from the new one and burns to the Yama

As I said in commenting on Ingui's TuneUp cursor, I would love to see a DJ theme. I am not good in creating cursors like I also said and will stick to music . I would like to know if anybody is making a DJ cursor theme. If not, is there anyone willing to put it in there plans do so? <b

And I guess that was what brazil was talkin about. I just thought he meant naming the folder the same as the respected skin name and not the main backround bmp. They differ.

Heeeyyyy c242 my man, that worked. I also got Soft Orange III to work. I usually download the zips to my ctemp 3 folder and this time extracted them there like you said. They created folders and then I copied them to the themes subfolder. That worked. However I cannot get Chromium to work. When extracting it in the ctemp3 folder it does not create a new folder but just appears as the bmps, ini and ttf files. I created a Chromium folder in ctemp3 then extracted it there and after c

Yeah brazil, it won't create a new folder on it's own saying the files already exist and asking to overwrite. With the folders I created, the name does match exactly with that of the respected Sysmetrix skin.

17 Replies 4,693 Views

Yeah I have both. I tried some other Sysmetrix skins and the folders are all there with the bmps, ini and ttf files. This is when I create the new folders as I have always done. Otherwise it would say the files already exist instead of creating a new folder on it's own. When I go to change, Doublet does not show up however after that I tried the Chromium skin creating the new folder and it does show up when I go to change but there is no preview and am unable to cha

Here we go... Since I first installed it a little while ago, I could never extract the Sysmetrix skins to my themes sub folder in the Sysmetrix folder. It wouldn't create a new folder as you would think but would say the files already exist and ask me to overwrite. As a result of this I created a new folder for every Sysmetrix skin I downloaded under the themes folder. I have around 15-20 skins and the last time I downloaded one before yesterday was a little while ago. I cre
