The problem lies with modified system files. No doubtedly they've applied some transformation packs upon installation hence why you don't get the "aero" look and such. What graphics card do you have by the way ?

This is some modified copy of Windows XP, an unofficial version. I would suggest you take it back and request a legitimate copy be installed.

You can create a box for all icons called the task tray. But not for each individual icon.

LOL, yeah. It was mostly for demonstrational purposes. The commission had insisted on that font and text colour. This type of video camera has quite a large front end also the perspective doesn't give the front end any justice as it is pretty big if you were to look at it like that. I appreciate all your feedback and will most certainly be taking it into account in future designs.

On a particular site, there is a popup window despite being blocked by my popup blocker it still displays the open animation followed directly by the close animation. The application in question is Aurora. I excluded aurora from the animation and now it flashes quickly instead of playing the animation. I guess it's just a fault of the site rather than WFX itself.

There is a scripting feature and a gallery with currently scripted animations. I'm not sure if this is exactly what you mean by your post elvee but it's worth a look

It took long enough lol 157 layers altogether. Made using the pen tool and gradient tool (with the exception of the text of course) XD
