Don't mean to sound pushy, but was there going to be an update to this for Diplomacy released soon? I'm planning on doing some major modding (again, 'cause I just got Diplomacy) but I'd rather wait if you all are going to update some files again.

I just got Diplomacy tonight, and I wanted to test some of the new diplomatic features, plus attempting to put the AI on agressive for once. A few games ago, I had the AI on Normal w/o Diplomacy, all on the same team. They attacked my key planet within minutes of each other. Now with them as Aggresive and with Diplomacy, and no locked teams, they really haven't done much of anything at all. Just a few scouts, and 1 AI managed to send less than 10 ships in, minutes apar
Out of curiosity, is all support for DS going to move to Diplomacy for now?
[quote who="G-ADM_Prawn" reply="660" id="2529029"] Quoting coinich, reply 659Out of curiosity, I was playing .4E (just before the update) on normal just to get a feel of the game. The only AI out of 3 who did anything was the Borg, but the other Federation didn't seem to do anything, and the Romulans didn't start for ages, and when they did they were soon assimilated. Your problem was probably that you set the AI type on Random. Note that you separately control AI d
If you only have the original Sins, I don't think there's a version compatable with 1.19, sorry.

Entity Ref not found: RESEARCHSUBJECT_RESEARCHBOOST_TEC_0.entity Thats the first error that causes a minidump; the rest are related somehow, but I don't know. The are full of code, such as: Assert @ c:\gs\entrenchment\CodeSource\Engine/Archive/TextFileArchive.cpp(183) *stringSrc == _T('"') Assert @ c:\gs\entrenchment\CodeSource\GS/Entity/Interfaces/IResearchSubject.cpp(109) m_Tier == researchWindowLocation.pos.m_X Assert @ c:\gs\entr
Well, the game isn't playing nice with my new techs. I'm getting minidumps all over the place. I made sure that the research files are in the proper folder, and listed in both PlayerTech.entity and entity.manifest, but it still says it cannot locate them.
I have the GOTY edition, and it says who on the cd.
I posted a map in the map threads in case anyone's interested. Are you accepting minimods as well?
Bleh. Oh well, I suppose thats more or less a copy of the Advent research, with a few adjustments. I can do that. Probably easier to code... Thanks for the help.
Paul Schuegraf, accprdoing to the CD I have.
Free and researched immediately when you get that required Research Station level?
Thanks. I'd really not create more research to do this though; I'd far rather have it be an innate ability from the stations themselves. There's simply no way to do that?
My main goal is to make multiple research labs reduce both the time and cost to research technologies slightly. I have found a line in the entity files "isAffectedBySimilarModuleCostResearch FALSE". What exactly does that do? I figured that to get this to work, there are two modifiers I need to use, ResearchBuildRateAdjustment and ResearchCostAdjustment. Can I just give it the modifiers, or do I have to link them with a passive ability somehow?
I believe my Gateways Map is about ready for submission. If anyone has any suggestions, please just say and I'll take a look at them. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=373DKE8K
Yeah, I just can't seem to get DM working. Oh well, I'm excited for the rest of whats new anyway.
This is real short and sweet. Is there any way I can purchase Entrenchment with a Gamestop gift card?
I am to understand that this new release does nothing for 1.18 Sins?
I'm got Sins recently, but I can't really seem to get ahold of the diplomatic side of the game (no Diplomacy, just 1.18). Various matches with it enabled ended with the entire AI allying against me; the last time I actually managed to win wiith it enabled was during a Normal match instead, and then I just completely ignored it and fell into an alliance without exerting too much effort. My playing style just doesn't often meet the demands of the AI's "go kill 5 structues" when I do
Thanks, worked like a charm!
edit: Whoops!
This probably is a really stupid question, but where's the Mods tab that lets you open modded planets in this?
Ah, ok thanks. Just another reason to get Entrenchment then!
I'm sorry, but where's the extras folder? I'm using the 1.01 release for SoaSE only, if that helps.
