It also does not place the icons in their proper positions when applying a package. My libraries icon becomes a closed folder icon etc. There's others out of place also, but suffice it to say IconPackager is going to need some updates. -- Ace --
They're not double previews. They're incorrectly rendered reflections. I'll never understand why people adopt products early, when they're most problematic while abandoning OSs like W7 which are perfectly good. I can't stand W8, so 8.1 is probably MOTS. Next OS? iOS or Linux.
I have to agree with you Doc , I tried the Win 8.1 Preview, and initially

I have found that this fix is quite effective when experiencing the double image problem that you described. Open IconPackager > click on Icon & Cursors tab > click on Folders tab > then change the Live Folder (Data) icon to the Live Folder (back) icon. Then , re-apply the package. you may have to reboot for the change to be affective. --Ace--

We get rain and flooding like that here in Georgia too. Thankfully our home is built on a hill, so we don't worry when the flood waters rush by. Nice video, thanks for sharing Jim. -- Ace ---

I was able to get the Explorer background function to work after a reboot, but I am still unable to create or add my own custom explorer backgrounds from the "create texture" button. It takes me to my texture folder and when I click on the image it just reverts back to the texture options and won't add or create. It's been 1 and a half years since I quit and I've never felt better. I give all credit to the electronic cigarette that helped me quit. Best choice I ever made. Wish more people who are having a problem quitting would give it a try and see if it will work for them. Anythings worth a try to give up those dangerous cigarettes. -- Ace --

You could try repairing your system files system using a command prompt. In your start menu search box type in "cmd" minus the quotes. Right click on the cmd.exe and select "run as administrator" in the command window, type sfc/scannow. This will find and repair any corrupted files that may be causing you problems. -- Ace --

You can't miss something you never had. therefore, since I have never desired to participate in any type of social networking, I don't miss anything and my natural organic lifestyle is still intact thankfully. My idea of social networking is jumping on "Matilda" and cruising with Rolling Thunder down some twisty curvey country road out in the middle of nowhere, then stopping at some roadside general store for a hot dog & soda and good conversation w

I downloaded and ran the scan on my computer and fully expected that it would find nothing, since I never install toolbars and there was never an indication that there were any hiding somewhere. I was WRONG !! The scan found "conduit" hiding in my system. WOW !! It's been removed now and all is well. I can't thank you enough for posting this Doc , I really appreciate it and so does my computer. [e digicons]5*[/e] [e digicons][/e
