To be perfectly honest about the image that was uploaded, after reading the description by the uploader, I was very irritated by the fact that it was actually created by someone else and being uploaded here by his "buddy?" I mean really....what is this.....his personal promotional/marketing department ?? It just didn't seem genuine to me , thus I simply clicked off the page. -- Ace -- </

You know, this is kinda' amazing. With all this research and devolopment going on, Win8 may turn out to be quite useful thanks to Stardock. DANG !!! and I was sooooo deadset on NOT venturing into that territory. Does that make me wishy-washy ?? [e digicons]:\[/e] -- Ace --
Ok....so..don't get mad at me Neil...I'm just posting this in this thread to show my vision for the "NEW" Stardock. Just playin' around... -- Ace --

Actually, I think the "custom" section of the package builder would be the better place to include the custom icon. my bad.
Do you have a screenshot of what the standard Windows icon looks like for this device? I would like to make a custom icon that I can include in my IconPackager projects. Even if the package builder doesn't have a specific entry for it, I can include the icon in the pack by putting it in the "others" category in the builder, then the user can manually replace the default icon with the custom icon. Thanks. -- Ace --
Awsome cake !! Down here in Georgia that's a real winner....and of course, nothing unusual about the wedding location either. -- Ace --
Actually, if you right click on any empty space outside of a fence and navigate to the "view"options, you can disable the alignment options for icons and it will also apply to those inside a fence. I move my icons about inside a fence and they stay right where I want them. -- Ace --
WOW !! Absolutely amazing ! This song has been performed so many times and by so many people, it all sounded the same to me, but this .....WOW!! by far the best I have ever heard....even better than by the original artists. This young lady is a super star !! -- Ace ---
what was the problem/solutipn?
The answer is in the "UPDATE" edit up top there in the original post. Yipee ! FIXED !......WinFX installed and Running. -- Ace --
I always keep my subscriptions paid well in advance. I'm obsessive about those sorts of things in my life.
You can also uninstall the last windows update that you think may be causing the problem. The uninstall option is found on the windows update page.
I don't archive any programs. If I'm not using a program it gets uninstalled and doesn't get to loiter on my machine anywhere. This is very strange. Nothing like this has ever happened before. I ran a complete system search and it found nothing pertaining to WinFX.
Thank-you so much Doc. [e digicons][/e] -- Ace --
This is the first problem I've ever had with a Stardock install. The screenshots pretty much give you all the details, except for the fact that I haven't had WinFX installed in quite awhile. My registry is clean. I even browsed it to look for any keys that shouldn't be there. There are none that would pertain to WinFX. I use CCleaner all the time, and I've done several sfc/scannow processes. I'm drawing a blank as to what this could possibly
