Can someone please explain to me what is going on ? Does my system have a virus? My main WC page is displaying and featuring skins from way back in 1999 and nothing from the present year of 2012. This is so incredibly bizarre and no one else has mentioned that they have an issue, so that leads me to conclude that my system is corrupted. -- Ace -- <img src="http://themeworxmedia.com/pix/images/AceMatrix/

Thank-you so much for that great review Draginol. I'm sure it has saved me a lot of time and money since I am now more convinced than ever that Win8 is not something that I want or need. I also will no longer waste any of my brain time debating the issue. Even though your review couldn't cover everything, it was right on target with some of the most important aspects regarding my own personal day to day interface. From what I'm reading, I certa

Yesterday when I clicked on my profile link , I discovered that none of my uploads are displayed ,just an empty page. I thought perhaps they were just doing some work on the site, but this morning I checked again and it's still the same , none of my uploads are displayed. What's happening ? Am I being punished for something ? -- Ace --

Hopefully, Stardock makes it a more functional/usable OS than it is currently.
That all sounds pretty good starkers , so if Stardock does

Well.....I'm back with my Vista OS and I've got to tell you, I'm smiling from ear to ear. It took a long time to get it all set up because of all the updates you have to install before it allows you to install the final service pack 2, but it was all worth it even though I was up most of the night getting things back to the way I like them. I didn't realize how much I missed this OS until I saw how fast the pages transitioned and even my Windowb

Well apparently you and I are on the same wave length Snowman, because I was thinking the same thing to myself just yesterday. You are exactly right because oddly enough I have the exact same problems you were describing. When I was using Vista, my machine was smokin' fast !! No slowdowns no matter how much I threw at it. I have a custom built machine that I put together myself, and believe me, it is built for speed ! There is no excuse why it sho

I have a lot of faith and confidence in the wonderful folks at Stardock. They are quite honestly geniuses. If it is at all possible to make Win8 more user friendly and comfortable for us, I predict that a sunami of new business will hit Stardock and sales and subscriptions will go through the roof. For those of us who love Stardock, that should bring a broad smile to our faces and possibly more installations of Win8 to our machines. [e digicons]:sun:[/e] [e di

I really like the idea of having these competitions. Over the years it has been something that I have really paid alot of attention to. It certainly brings out the best of the best and I believe that is why Wincustomize has always been and will continue to be the most elite skinning site on the web. -- Ace --

Hey Wiz....thanks for that link, I've been searching the forums archives trying to find that post. I've been wanting to do a little icon maintenance myself but couldn't find that thread. [e digicons][/e]
What OS? Can you post a screenshot of the icons changed by IP? There is no setting in config to allow/disallow systray icon replacement and I don't recall IconPackager ever changing those icons.
Agreed.....and actually, it is a long and drawn out process that is required to change those tray icons. I believe there is a tutorial on how to do it over on the" How-to Geek " website.
