Hi all, I think OSX does something like this, I've definetly seen it before somewhere anyway. Anyone know if object dock can do this? At the moment folders just open the windows explorer folders, which is OK, but I'd prefer something like the title suggests.
I use to use this, wo

Hopefully you guys can add blur for dynamic desktop content. I use wallpaper engine and would also love to have blur. My computer is strong enough for a feature like that. Make it as an option and give a warning that it may cause slowdowns on lower spec systems.
You can get a nearly accurate vista skin from Deviantart. https://www.deviantart.com/fytuf/art/BetterAeroVistaX-Version-1-0-875258248 Or if you want a windows 7 style version: https://www.deviantart.com/fytuf/art/Better-Aero7X-Version-2-5-875022700
I should point out that they may be using a different start menu app. If you are using startisback or classic shell. Those are not compatible with windowblinds. You get that behavior with those apps running.
Start menu jumplist need to have a nice slide animation like how it was in windows 7. Start 8/10 and now 11 all just opens instantly. Its very jarring especially now with the smooth animations windows 11 introduced. The start menu opening animation also seems a little janky. Might need to look into smoothing it out more. on a 144hrz screen the default start menu opens buttery smooth, but start 11 is very laggy with the animation. Almost like its 60hrz. Picture for refer
Start menu animation is jittery when opening. I also noticed it does not allow its animation to be changed via window fx. Startmenu Jump list really need that sliding animation that windows 7 had when opening them. Please add animation to that part of the start menu. Its been like that ever since start8. It just looks out of place now with all the smooth new animations windows 11 has.
Icon packager an Object dock also works on 11. For icon packager through, the 3d live folder icons from vista/7/8/10 no longer skin properly due to the layout change to them.
As of build 22000.65, multi monitor taskbar functionality is almost back. Its missing the taskbar clock and drag/drop pinning and opening with. But because of how Microsoft said that 3rd party apps wont really be able to touch the taskbar, it might be a good time for Stardock to bring back Objectbar. Object bar would be a good alternative replacement to the current taskbar and a bonus would be to build start10 into object bar so that you can have the old start menu. Perfect opportunity Stardo
Other tools that modify the behaviors of how certain windows functions work never play well with start10,windowblinds and icon packager. If you are trying to have a transparent taskbar, there are options in both start10 and windowblinds to allow you to set the transparency to the taskbar. You can even just blank it out with skinstudio if thats what you are trying to go for.
Cursor FX, Sound packager and Icon Packager all seem to run fine on 11 Dev insider, though they do to much to the os in terms of heavy modding to UI elements.
My experience on Dev edition of Win 11 (from Windows Insider Program), is that none of Stardock products runs well on it (Win 11 Dev), that's a gimme. Disabled by default in windows 10 for faster startup. Though it can be re-enabled through this method. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-10-start-up-sound/f5137a40-8603-42a7-9f6b-e0ac2dea0e2a Windows 11 however has it enabled by default again. Though I do not believe it can be changed with sound packa
Since Windows 11 no longer has toolbars or Bins no longer works for grouped taskbar icons. I found a replacement for the time being using this cool app: https://github.com/tjackenpacken/taskbar-groups <img src="https://cdn.stard
A here we go. Found the page with the info about taskbar customization.... https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-11-specifications#primaryR4 Hey Stardock. Lets bring back Objectba
I dont think they can now.... Look at the last bullet point. This is right from the about windows 11 page on Microsoft's website. Might be time to finally bring back Stardock Objectbar/Objectdock....
My question is, what will Stardock have to do (if anyt
You are missing graphics drivers. it makes things look better. Rounded corners on the windows and acrylic blur on search/start/taskbar. What you are seeing it what windows 7 use to do with basic and aero, but now on a modern OS. Lol
Windows 11 is a total <spa
So far I love all the animations that 11 has, though I only tested it on a VM. The direction that they are taking it seems to be right, though there are some concerns about its theme-ability with windowblinds. Taskbar has been overhauled and might not be skin-able like the modern ui apps in its final form. Just from messing with its msstyle, it seems to no longer be modifiable there.
Probably best you remove that link to 11. You are not allowed to post it.
I found a link to the leaked Win 11 and I'm wondering if I might install it on a non-critical PC to see what's different to Win 10. I was skeptical at first but it does seem to be Win 11. Anyway, I'd check it out for any nasties before deciding whether or not to install i
Please add back Vista style Start button support. As of Windows 10, it gets cut off if it is larger than the taskbar. Using any themes that have buttons like that gets cut off. Vista for reference: <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/40/19/4019518/b3f170d5-4935-48fe-9633-7881f2d3d539.jpg" alt="" width="182" height
It does so on the latest windowblinds. Its been doing it for a year now. Hopefully it can be looked into as its annoying. I use toolbars a lot...
Hello, Sorry to hear you are having issues. Have you tried WB10.88 or 10.89 on this one? Thanks Basj, Stardock Community Assistant.
Gonna post this again since it keeps getting ignored since june of last year.... Taskbar toolbars change depending on weather you use light mode, dark mode, or a mixed mode. It causes them to shift downwards or go semi transparent on button text for those toolbars. It also affects the taskbar buttons. It will not load the button press colors. Its been an issue for a really long time now. Hopefully it can be looked at. https://strea
I noticed that when I used this replica window 7 theme for windows 10 from DA along with some themes I was working on that is off putting to see the glitch. https://www.deviantart.com/fytuf/art/Better-Aero7X-875022700
Would love to see Compiz Window dragging updated to support higher screen refresh rates. Seems real janky on my 144hz screen. Window FX Style of wobbly window works fine however.
