Some skins that I use have a lot of transparency in the windows. It makes some things hard to read with other windows behind it. Are you guys by any chance going to code your own blur into the program? That would be sweet if you could. :D

Wip Aero Based Theme (for Win 8) in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

I am happy with the speed of windows 8 but truly miss the default aero style. I decided it would be cool if I could remake that Aero theme from windows 7 for Windows 8. So far, its coming out nicely. (Hopefully stardock can code their own way to add blur with windowblinds :D ) Here is a wip preview:

Is there any chance you guys can add a option into windowblinds 8 to not skin the start menu. I use startisback as my startmenu replacement and unable to use it. When a windowblinds skin is applied, the startmenu gets chopped up. I would prefer to use it over start8. It would be nice for that feature to be added in the next beta version. Thanks! Now for the bugs. -I seem to have an issue with chrome maximized. The frame goes off by quite a few pixels. (Goes away over time it seems)</p

I would love to have the ability to import windows 7 visual styles. I know there is a tool for xp themes. But why have there been none for win7 themes?

lol, yeah I have a majot learning curb to learn skinstudio. Doing something different from another way I theme has more work than I thought. Once I get the hand of it, I will be able to produce higher quality work. :D It took me an hour just to start getting the start menu aligned properly. Just have a few more imaged left on it.

I have been messing with an app for windows vista all the way to 8 called Windows style builder. That tool allowed me to create custom themes for a patched system. Although it was great, there are in fact flaws that prevent me from doing certain things. Owning object desktop for 2 years now, I realized that I could try my hands at making a windowblinds skin. Edit, found it. Nevermind. lol I have the font all the way to the right, but when I maximize it goes back to the center + looks messed up. How do I align the font to the left while maximized?

So this is my first time actually working on a windowblinds skin. I am having a hard time locating where the glow behind the font is for the titlebar caption. This is modified off of the Win8 theme included with windowblinds if that makes any difference. Here is a picture of what I mean.

Loving windows 8 still. Have no issue with it. Hope to see windowblinds soon so that I don't have to rely on VS's (made this vs because i don't like the default theme in windows 8 ;p )
